Origin to EA App transition - Fifa 16 disappeared

FIFA 16 disappeared from my collection upon the transition from Origin to EA App.

It is nowhere to be found, even though it is installed in my computer. Interestingly, I have Fifa 14 too and it appears normally in my collection... but Fifa 16 is my favorite version and it is very deceiving not being able to play it.

Did anyone have the same problem? Any solutions in sight? EA did not answer my question.

Else - does anyone know whether there is any means of playing Fifa 16 without having to connect to EA App?

I had the same problem couple of months ago when i switched to EA App because looks like App doesnt have relocate the game or manually choose installed games like Origin had.

Rename your FIFA 16 game folder becsuse you probably have patch and stuff. Install again from EA App FIFA 16 and run the game. Exit from the game, rename both folders and play with old one.

I think that is the only way since i never found other solution online back in time.

On Tuesday I came to EA play and I have no problems such as games from the Orgin library, only what I missed are games with a 10-hour subscriber like Mass Effect Andromeda

What about the fifa16 Demo? I mostly play the extended Demo as I feel it has the superior gameplay. Can anyone confirm that it's still available when switching to the EA App?

No, it is not.

But it can be played via EA App. I mean its working. Some people play DEMO and there is no problem (because of new App).

Well did you renamed back?

New downloaded to other name and your patched to FIFA 16.

Also are they at same location? Example C/Games/FIFA16?

Both folders under C/Program Files/EA Games, the EA app game folder. I renamed the "original" FIFA and now the FIFA 16 is my patched game. But still it does not work.

What is happening when you start the game from patched FIFA 16 folder? Does the game start?

Also did you start "clean" version first?

Now it worked!
The issue was that Origin updated the patched FIFA. I just needed to replace it with a back-up of my patch.
Thank you all, guys! I am a happy FIFA 16 player again

So EA has stopped me from booting up my game until I download their app....will this program mess up my CM16 information...please walk me through the process so I don't screw this up....
