I dont have nothing against they having a day-off. However, you dont tell people you're staying at the Hotel and then go to a nightclub. Not to mention, i doubt players from other NT's are having the same behaviour.

they were only there for like 30 minutes...for most of the night they were at the hotel...and when R Carlos was asked he joked about it. He doesnt need to give anyone any explaination. He joked and said "yea, I got yelled at by my girlfriend already, but it's no big deal".
Ronaldo was more diplomatic "We dont have to explain anything to the media" (H)

Half an hour, 15 mins, i dont care. They were caught lying, that's the problem. Oh, and btw, it seems we are already filming the documentary for the "Hexa".

That's why we never win it when we are the big favorites. I'm not too optimistic i must say.

yea, that kind of stuff is just ridiculous....Brasil are WAY too confident....

btw: I woudlnt call it a lie, it's a generalized statement.

I can't blame them to have real high hope of winning the cup but i hope they do it.

If they went to the training ground to practice for 5 mins, they'd tell the press they were training that night.

They said they stayed at the hotel, which they didn't. That's a lie.

Facts are facts, mate. If Fowler went to a club, denied it and then there were pictures of him in a club, he lied, and I'd say he did lie. Why Fowler's name was mentioned though is beyond me.

Players said they were at the hotel the whole night = fact.
They were at a club = fact.
Now there's something wrong... what happened?
a) They were at a club in the hotel - not correct.
b) They lied.

Get over it, it ain't the end of the world.

Im just saying...
it seems both are true. There werent asked if they went to the bar, they were asked where they were...
and I dont know about you, but if people are trying to keep track of what you are doing every hour of every day, I would more than likely give a general answer so they can get off my @$$....
know what I mean?

on to a bit of news: Ronaldo has a fever and wont train today.
I expect him to be subbed early in the opening game beause of fitness. It will be good to see Adriano and Robinho work, they have good understanding.

25.000 gathering to watch Brazil training...

This just prove that "theory" that i'm always trying to defend, even tho it shouldn't even be necessary for me to do that, since it's a fact:

"Brazil is considered, and is actually the most talented NT in the World... that's why, they're often the hot favourites in almost every WC"

25.000 don't gather to see experience and good defence... 25.000 gather to see a display of the most talented players int the World... (H)

Just what are you trying to do here then?

Considered by who? "Most people"? Most people voted Bush for president.

Was that supposed to make any sense? It's a freaking training session.

If it's only talent what makes people go to training sessions, and Brazil has the most talented players, we'd have lots of people in training sessions in every brazilian club. Do we? Even on matches. Which one has the best average attendance, the german league or the brazilian one? Yeah, thought so.

I'm pretty sure you can go to bed without another ownage. I'm giving you the chance to do just that.

I'm not trying.... I'm saying it! :)
George W. Bush is supported by powerful industrial interests, gazillions of dollars at stake... Brazil isn't supported by anything near that... they're recognized because they're worth it, not because a bunch of people like me, decided to name them as the best in the World!!! They have proved it to anyone who wants to see... so, what ARE YOU trying to do here?

"Another ownage"??!! Why, did you own me before? Because really i can't recall... I only quit the previous discussion, cause i got T-I-R-E-D of the arguing, and my english is way worse than yours, so you basically won by your persistence and your superior ability to express yourself in good english; i'm still learning, but gettin' better everyday... (H)
And that previous discussion really came in a bad period for me... i wasn't in the mood to continue, so i just quit the discussion... my last words were not words of dismay... you didn't own me!
You really think you did?! :amika:
You even had some other guy (Shifty... something), that was cheerleading for your posts, but even so... you didn't own me; well you can think you did! That's not a problem...

If any brazilian club was up to a major tournament, with the magnitude, importance and with the pompous of a WC; if any brazilian club had all the talents of the BRAZILIAN NT, then 25.000 people would gather to see this club training... :)

Comparing a brazilian club's average attendance with a German one, is ridiculous, and will not help you in this particular discussion... that will raise other discussions, that have nothing to do with this subject... my point remains: Brazil is the most talented NT, that's why people admire them so much, and that's why they 25.000 gathered to see their training session...

Oh, and... that Bush analogy... wow...

I didn't THINK I owned you, Grunger did though. Go back to the thread and read what he posted.

I KNOW I owned you.

And another ownage on its way...... you can read portuguese, please visit the link...

Germany got 42200 for a training session... Plenty of talent, the Germans. That's why they're hot favourites. They have the most talented players.

Germany is the most talented NT, that's why people admire them so much, and that's why 42.200 gathered to see their training session...

Well it's the home nation...the thing is the 25,000 were mostly non-Brazilians.

What's the point you're trying to make? Every kid knows Brazil is the most talented NT in the world that's why people even go to their training sessions to see the likes of Ronaldinho, Adrinao, Kaka etc. kicking the ball. It was even broadcasted here.

Well, you can't be sure how many brazilians were among the 25000... There are about 30 thousand brazilians living in Germany, plus the ones visiting just for the world cup.

Of course I know Brazil is the most talented NT. The thing is that talent by itself doesn't make 25000 people go there to see them. If it was true, then we'd have 25000 everytime someone in the streets was doing keepy uppies. They went there to see a team that won the World Cup, players that are successful. Talent wins nothing by itself, and you as a german know that.

The thing is that Ahoy wanted to tease me after the discussion we had in another thread. There I said that if talent won the matches by itself, we'd see Nigeria and Senegal as world beaters. If there's no defense and experience, there's no titles. But he seems to disagree with that...

Luis Ah-Hoy

Nope... you didn't own me! Yeah, Grunger maybe... but i'm not interested in starting a fight just because of that... i can live with that ownage... because i recognize HE DID own me... so i'll just keep it that way... :)
But YOU? You never owned me, u wish you had maybe, i dunno... :funny:

Isn't Germany the Host nation?!
So... how many people are there in Germany, that are willing to demonstrate their support and want to see their countrymen (and why not, local heros) training? And yes, Germany NT isn't as talented as Brazil's... but they're still a very good NT, and they're still title contenders, and i'll remind you once again: the WC is in GERMANY... Germany, is the Germans nation... so, it's natural that their NT register the largest attendance at training sessions. You know (or do you? I'm not not so sure now... =/) and everybody knows darn well that the German's are very supportive of their NT... and this time, it's even more evident... they're playing at home... Brazil NT is more talented that Germany's, but that doesn't mean that IN GERMANY, their training attendance numbers will surpass Germany's...

So... leaving behind this useless Germany vs Brazil training attendance arguing, now tell me, which other foreign nation has registered the attendance numbers in training as Brazil's? Maybe some other has, but you first lemme know which, then we'll talk again... :ewan:
