Yea, he has been waiting for the WC all season and now he decides to get fit because its time for the WC...thats how it goes.

You can have him, hopefully he has a great WC ( which he should ) than you guys can give us an assload of money for him. :ewan:

I really think if Real were to let go of him, it'd be for cheap. Depends a lot on the WC though.

he's been in that shape all season. the doctors say he waighes 82kg, the coaches, the staff, he says it..but no one believes it. it's ridiculous really. If you see pictures of him training like the one of him sitting on the ball, everyone will once again say he's fat. In fact the press keep asking him about him being fat, and he got angry with them (understandably). It's just his neck really...

anyway,
Brasil beat flumenense's U20 13-1. They got scored on first after 5 minutes :kader: on a defensive mistake.

oh an yeah, it's switzerland...

He weights 82. Good for him. but if you take a look at other attackers at about the same age and height, he's somewhat above average...

Ronaldo = 183cm, 82kg
Ljuboja (Serbia and Montenegro) = 182cm, 75kg
Klose (Germany) = 182cm, 74kg
Crespo (Argentina) = 185cm, 78kg
Borgetti (Mexico) = 182cm, 78kg
Morientes (Spain) = 182cm, 78kg......

All of those are within 3 years range from Ronaldo's age. All of those are strikers.

The worst thing is that you're probably right, Grunger... I can only hope some croat can stop him for a month or two. Where's Dragan when you need him?

No donut for Edmilson. Knee injury, Mineiro is called for his place. Shame for him, and for us. Arguably our best defender when fit.

hehe

Expect them bambis to come here and lick Mineiro's boots...

He's really being elevated to Chuck Norris level. I've heard them saying that "Pele was not mineiro (born in Minas Gerais state), Pele was Mineiro."

Oh...sincere mixed feelings - I am happy for Mineiro but just as much (if not more) upset about Edmilson. It's a shame really, he is probably more solid than any of our centre-backs, and plays both DM and CB. I could see him even starting... :(. well, now we can only hope his knees wont't give him more trouble from now on (that injury that took him off Barça for so long, was it on right knee too?).

As for Mineiro, I could do some fancy comment on how he just popped up out of seemingly nowhere (first Yokohama '05, and now this - and remember he is already 30), but two weeks ago Belletti has put such things onto perspective ;). Nah, whatever - Godsped you Mineiro!

And now our so called stars apparently lied to Parreira saying they would stay at the Hotel after the game against Luzern, and went to night clubs. Parreira told the press he knew about it.

I doubt that. After the mess involving Edmilson and Adriano, comes this. I heard on the radio, the news. It was comical - Emerson was interviewed on "how it went last night", and he said he was at the Hotel, resting. Then people showed him a pic of himself on a nightclub. He was so speechless...

Hopefully nothing too disturbing for our camp, even tho this is the best team we've had since 1982 by far and those morons are putting everything to lose if they keep it going this way.

Ronaldo isnt fat, id be happy to weigh as much as he does and be in the shape he is, fat weighs more than muscle. He is at a good weight imo,

I believe you meant muscle weighs more than fat. It's not the fatness that annoys me. I'm fat myself (then again, I don't get in a year what he gets in a day... but I digress).

But to me it's not about the fatness. It's about laziness.

Oh, and R. Carlos' face after being asked about the news said it all. He also said he was at the hotel, then tried to make a half-arsed excuse...
