El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
GOOOOOLAZO DE AGÜERO!

Now 1-1 at 25'.

Conca is playing fine yet anything amazing.

EDIT: Independiente wins 2-1 HT.

The second goal was another excellent goal of Agüero, kudos to Biglia and Armenteros. Machin seems to be doing good too.

Conca has disppeared a bit but it's mostly because River is not being fit on attack.

Rojas received a red card too.

Well full time Independiente won 2-1.

Meaningless victory, considering the circumstances and the events surrounding River lately, also that they were with kind of a B team.
However it was a good match of Agüero, also good debut for Machin playing for Independiente, also good match of Bustos Montoya, Armenteros and Pautasso(though i still prefer Lorgio Alvárez). Hopefully we'll get Giovanni Hernandez since there's big interest on him, also hopefully Carrizo will be back in shape today he was on the bench there's the chance he's a starting against San Lorenzo. In the side of River they got a bit of complications after Rojas red card and they weren't really fit on attack. Conca did play good but he did few.

On River confirmed to come, Mauro Rosales, and to be confirmed, Caceres and Figueroa.

Just a question plz for the argentinian brothers

How good are Gago and Agüero?

Can be compared to Fernando Redondo? Better than Mascherano?

Aguero is an amazing young player, he shoots like Romario and dribbles a lot..but always towards the goal.

Gago is a very good player. And he plays in the same way Redondo played. But in Boca he plays with Battaglia to help him.

Im a River fan, and i think Mascherano is the best Defensive Midfielder, he has 4 legs and 6 lungs. He is a different stage.

Well tonight the classics get croseed, Independiente vs. Boca Juniors and River Plate vs. Racing Club, this means that Gago and Agüero will play against each other today.:o

I guess(though with summer matches you never know), seeing as both teams will play with their main squads and it will be the first match between Boca and Independiente since Boca equalized the line of 15 international titles with Independiente(However i've read somewhere that Boca still has 13, they say 15 because they are counting 2 pre-season friendly international things like they were a Libertadores or an Intercontinental cup, one was the "Masters cup", which sound like a Tennis thing and the other one i don't remember what it was called).

EDIT: Well it seems Gago will not play tonight due a small injury, Battaglia won't play either.(:/)

When Independiente was the King of Cups Boca was strugglin to survive...they are doing this to feed their ego, this statistics doesnt mean anything in the football folklore...

We won against Racing...

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
For what i've heard Racing to be above River matches won between them, Racing should win all the matches against River for 25 years. The difference between Boca and Independiente of matches won is slightly, only 3.

Anyway time to open a Clausura 2005/2006 thread.:ewan:
