San Lorenzo looked so promising in the begging of the year, too bad they fell out recently.
I even predicted them as Champions, after I saw they signed Cardozo, Montero plus their one of the big-5 in BA...

It's sad to see Castroman see go down for Velez, now Boca have a clear path to the championship.

America face Velez, Castroman's injury is a huge relief. (6) :(

I'm a Velez Sarsfield supporter (no, I didn't jump in the bandwagon, I've been a fan since the Chilavert era in the early 90's) and it's awful to see Castroman out. He's the heart and soul of the team. On a positive note Rolando Zarate is coming back from his injury I think

Tiro Federal is first timer in the first division, think of Wigan Atlhetic, you couldn't expect too much since in only 5 years they went up like 5 divisions. However i believe Tiro Federal's bad campaign doesn't have a logic explantation because they have some experienced players from the first division.

In my opinion Vélez will still be in the road to the championship, Castromán is the important but they have some pretty good players, i mean Gracian and Sessa, to mention some, are pretty underrated. However Vélez isn't having any luck with the injuries this season, R. Zárate, Bravo and now Castromán.

Maybe San Lorenzo will turn into Colón, a promise that never gets accomplished.:funny:

There's a 0.01% chance that Frutos wouldn't sign with Anderlecht.:(

River would try to bring to the justice some intentional bad refeerings.

Absurd standings: Did you know that Olimpo and Banfield are the ones that lost the lesser amounts of matches so far this season, each one lost only one, the rest lost at least 2.:o

In the honor of the opening of this thread and in honor of Racing's ugly third shirt i'll put this picture from infiernorojo.(H)

Grrreat thread...!!! Finally...

I hope Velez overcome this hard times, and go straight to the championship...

They lost Roly Zarate and Bravo before and they are in the top of the table...

Castroman broken ankle :kader:

And i hope that the tie from Boca against River, marked the downfall of Boca... :ewan:

PS: This new thread needs a new sig from me...im going to make something special... :rockman:

Huracan is doing pretty good lately they will probably make it, and Chacaraita they got saved in the play-off vs. Platense or else they would be in the third division now. However i would like to see Tigre and/or CAI in the first división. Speaking of Huracan somewhere i'm hearing that Inter Milan is paying certain amount of money to Huracan so they will have priority in the tranfers because they are very interested in their youth teams.:o

Some commentators said that this Racing third kit and San Lorenzo away one look like Rugby shirts, maybe they are right.

Vélez didn't have a good start this season but they got up. In my opinion it will be hard for them but they will still be in the top fighting, plus Boca could fall soon if they perform like they did the sunday. Also Independiente is just 5 points away.(6)

Take the shirt away and we could talk about an interesting picture.(H)

Tiro Federal vs. Rosario Central 4-0
9' Rodolfo Aquino 1-0
66 Javier Campora 2-0
76' Javier Campora 3-0
89' Javier Campora 4-0

Heh, finally Tiro Federal wins a match while Central keeps sinking down their misery. Odd thing that with 4 goals Tilger or De Bruno didn't score any.

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
Well the matches of the friday.

Estudiantes LP vs. Arsenal FC 3-1
4' José Luis Calderon 1-0
25' José Luis Calderon 2-0
55' Gaston Esmerado 2-1
66' José Sosa 3-1

Lanús vs. Tiro Federal 0-2 :lmfao:
29' Rdolfo Aquino(PK) 0-1
68' Javier Campora 0-2

Independiente vs. Colón 1-1 (:/)
46' Esteban Fuertes 0-1
48' Segio Agüero 1-1 <--- 7th goal of Agüero in 10 matches played this season.(6)

Olimpo B.B. vs. Banfield 2-2 :boohoo:
17' Franco Mendoza 0-1
32' Ezequiel Maggiolo 1-1
46' Gabriel Paletta 1-2
54' Cristian Leiva(OG) 2-2

In the 2nd division Tigre lost the classic with Chacarita 3-0.:(
Also Argentinos would go for the colombian Arzuaga on loan since Juan Manuel Martinez got injured, however if Junior doesn't lose the coming match they would look for someone else.
The match of Independiente, neither team didn't play very well, however it was a very good match for the bolivian player of Independiente Lorgio Alvarez, in my opinion a player to watch for the bolivian national team coach if he keeps playing like he's been doing lately.

is it true that Independientes is after Eduardo Rubio (U. Catolica/Chile)??

because i warn you.. he isn't good. (6)

nice to see Tiro winning 2 in a row... but they're doomed anyway.

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
Independiente isn't looking for anyone right now as far as i know.
Heh wonder if Tiro Federal will keep winning, too bad they already played against Boca and River.

Its official, Independiente sold Nicolas Frutos to Anderlecht.

In the middle of the tournament, i cant believe that...besides he cant play in Anderlecht until january...

In other news, River will play with the same 11 that we played against Boca.

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
Which is odd because Anderlecht wanted him to leave now, because there was the chance that he would sign but he wouldn't go there until December.(:/)
The rest of the matches from matchday 12 have official dates.

Friday 28/10
Argentinos Jrs. vs. Gimnasia LP

Saturday 29/10
Boca Juniors vs. Newell's Old Boys

Sunday 30/10
Gimnasia J. vs. Vélez Sarsfield
Rosario Central vs. River Plate
Instituto Cba. vs. Quilmes AC
San Lorenzo vs. Racing Club <--- I predict a 0-0 here.

I'm hearing somewhere that River will be looking for Zabaleta and some other players(such as Ortega and Verón between others) when the transfer window reopens.

Not really related to the league but, apparently Agüero would be called up for the national team in December(and maybe Gago too) for a friendly match that will be played in Argentia after the friendly with Egypt, the plan would be getting Agüero and Messi to play together again.:)

Also Maradona would be somekind of coach "assistant", he would be asked for such in some days.

Tonight Vélez plays vs. América for the Sudamericana, in my opinion it'll be interesting how will Vélez perform.

Doesn't Maradona already have enough with his show and working in Boca?
