El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
Well he has 2 shows actually, but the one of Argentina at least has only 2 weeks left. Also he said that he doesn't have a contract with Boca. But overall this thing came in because he's not very fond of Pekerman and co., now Bilardo also came in with the critics.

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
Yeah no Egypt they are looking for someone to play with anyway, it could be UAE. Good that Maradona will participate, let's hope he doesn't try to be over Pekerman.:jap:

Esteban Bujan will be suspended for 5 matches. Bilos has pneumonia so he could be missing the match of the saturday and the one with Internacional for the Sudamericana. Julio Cruz is another name that is making noise for River.

Hey good match of Vélez last night, they did very good without Castromán, Bravo and Rolando Zárate. Gracian made another excellent goal from outside the box, he's a big player for Vélez besides Castromán too.

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
But Independiente didn't finish 16th.:o
Racing pulled that third down from the sleeve because Estudiantes and Arsenal that were fighting for the championship ended up behind Banfield and Racing.

Axolote

Senior Squad
I think that Racing needs a coach with a lot of experience, Quiroz isnt the right choice, and Marin is guilty of that...

Independiente can win the championship, they have to play against Velez and Boca, and there are only 8 points of difference.

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
Independiente could do it, though it won't be easy because Independiente didn't play to likes of Vélez, Olimpo, Boca, etc, yet. However Boca will be having a hard time too, because they didn't play against many teams that are in the top 10. They played with San Lorenzo and lost, they played with River and drew. They will have to play with Banfield that hasn't lost a home match for a while, this season they only lost a single match, same thing for Olimpo who Boca didn't face yet and will in the last matchday in Bahia Blanca, also they got to consider that Olimpo is getting stronger at home. Independiente has to get more points to aim for the championship, and the most important to qualify to the cups, so i believe for these weeks Vélez will be the direct rival of Boca for the top. It's interesting to see the good campaign that Gimnasia LP is doing considering that they ended up close to the promotion/relegation play-offs last season.
About Racing, it's said that if Delgado wants, he could return to Racing in December where he has a starting position guaranteed, this would also apply to Claudio López, though it doesn't seem that he would anytime soon, that means people will not have to cover in the seats behind the keeps.(8)

Vélez plays vs. Club América the 2nd leg at home of the quarter finals of the Sudamericana, Vélez won 2-0 the first match so i guess a single goal in the first half for Vélez could guarantee their spot in the semi-final.

In the second division Chacarita lost 1-0 with San Martin SJ, that leaves Chacarita 3rd with 23 points along with Defensa y Justicia, 4 points away from the leader Godoy Cruz(27) and 2 points away of the 2nd, Huracan(25). Speaking of the 2nd division it seems that they will be changing the system for the 2006/07 season, it's unknown yet what will it be, it could be a group systems like they use the in the 3rd, 4th and 5th division, the amount of teams could increase, it's believed it could be 32 teams or over. However what will it come from this is yet to be known because some prefer the actual system for this division, i actually don't have any problem with it. Also they would do something about the "average table..... :lui: :fluffy:

Marin wont spend any money, and he always change the squad every six months...i think he doesn't know anything about football, but he is a great bussines man, like his friend Macri...

In other news, Insua said that Boca will win the Apertura and the Sudamericana, and im sure they will like he predict a 3-0 against River...

Insua, see you in Mexico, loser..!!!

Too late, hehehe :)

Cappa, Filliol, Rivarola, the next to be insulted is Quiroz? Marin is burning the ''idols'' of Racing...

If Mostaza goes back he will end like the others...

What is your opinion on Marin, Andy?

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
Yeah Vélez played good there, however they got owned by Estudiantes the sunday, but Vélez kept trying though. But vélez is still close.

Newell's Old Boys vs. Rosario Central 2-1
45' FH Germán Rivarola 0-1
9' ST Ariel Ortega(PK) 1-1
26' SH Ezeqioeñ Garay 2-1

Vélez Sarsfield vs. Estudiantes LP 0-2
35' FH Agustín Alayes 0-1
46' SH Carlos Arano 0-2

Banfield vs. Boca Juniors 1-1 :o
31' SH José Sand <--- Look who scored against Boca.
36' SH Rodrigo Palacio

Colón Sta. Fe vs. Olimpo B.B. 2-0
11' FH German Denis 1-0
37' SH Esteban Fuertes 2-0

Gimnasia LP vs. Gimnasia J. 4-1 :o
3' FH Marcelo Goux 1-0
33' FH Esteban Gonzalez 2-0
10' SH Alejandro Delorte 3-0
39' SH Héctor Silva 3-1
45' SH Gonzalo Vargas 4-1

Arsenal FC vs. Independiente 2-4 (6)
41' FH Santiago Raymonda 1-0
2' SH Emiliano Armenteros 1-1
14' SH Sergio Orteman 1-2
26' SH Juan Pablo Caffa 2-2
29' SH Geremias Caggiano 2-3
41' SH Sergio Agüero 2-4

In an so-so match of Independiente in my opinion the man of the match was Orteman, excellent second half of the uruguayan player, though some say it was Agüero for the goal he made.
Important victory for Gimnasia LP now they are only 3 points away of Boca, Independiente is 5 away from Boca, but we will be playing against Vélez in the next match and against Boca later on.
A confused Boca, against a not very inspired Banfield, had to get along with getting only 1 point with a very difficult rival, though both teams didn't really play good the draw was a fair result.
Boca is still the leader though the supposed "dream team" isn't as superior as it was supposed to be, compared with the teams that are close. Good thing because by the press says it was like Boca and River were about to rape everybody, and evidently it isn't happening.

Axolote

Senior Squad
Orteman is back...but Castroman and Overman are out...who will defend us from evil..? :)

River is winning 2-1 at the end of the first half against Lanus.

Falcao and Farias for River, and Graf (not Stefi) for Lanus.

Boca be careful...hehehe :boohoo:

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
A ball was crossing in Falcao's way and it was the 3rd goal of River.:funny:
Tiro Federal wins 1-0 with a goal of De Bruno.

Guess what? Racing won a match.:wootman:

Lokomotiv Movska seems to be interested in Somoza(midfielder of Vélez) and Schiavi(disgrace... err defender of Boca). Also it would seem that Barcelona and Real Madrid are looking at Gago, also Gus Hiddink is in Argentina with Australia's national team and also talked well about Gago, may PSV be interested on him?

Axolote

Senior Squad
River 4 (Falcao x2, Farias and Montenegro)
Lanus 1 (Graf)

We didnt play a great match but Falcao is on fire...we still have to improve a lot.

We have the next JP Angel in our hands..hehe...

9 games in first division, 5 goals for the colombian crack.

Somoza is playing really good, but Velez players only play good in Velez.
