Figo out.....Suazo in

Excellent performance by Figo today, man. Those geezer legs of his were as youthful as ever whenever he had the ball on the left wing, man.

Typical Inter second half and also ending. We come out looking like the **** in the first half, bossing 'em around and what not, and then proceed to get all lackadaisical and careless in the second half, man. We were just too indifferent and toothless in the attack, very shaky and error filled in the defense.....a complete contrast to the first half, man.........WHAT A ******* NIGHTMARE.......

Inter shouldve put this game away in the first half,,,

With all the firepower he has up front,, and the preseason Suazo has had,,, why start Cruz?? I hope Adriano gets his spot next week, Zlatan is the only certainty, they should just rotate the partner spot based on current form, which Cruz doesnt have.

I watched the Inter game, and then the Milan game... the parallels in team chemistry dont exist. Inter has all the individual talent, and watching Zlatan with the ball is something you dont see to much in Serie A,, but Milan with the ball is religious. Inter needs one player in the middle to put them over the top, since Pirlo is taken,, I think Deco would be their best bet. Too much attacking from the wings

Anyway, I'd really like it if we picked 'em up.....I mean, he's perfectly suited for us! Aside from being highly skilled and all, he also just happens to be an Italian, and you know that we've gotta appease and accommodate Mikey, right?....we've gotta be in good standing with Mikey, man.

Anyway, this Torino side, man.....they're not shy and timid at all, man....they definitely live up to their nickname, you know?

I like that!

Hey, as hard as Inter tries to field an all foreign team, Julio Cesar decides it isnt right so he gets himself sent off so Captain Italia (Toldo) can come on and represent the green, white and red.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday, I think Torino could crack the top 7 if their strikers can finish, its too bad theyre missing Di Michele for a couple months though.

Rosina will never play for Inter, Moratti has a strick 'No Italians allowed' policy which is law. In all honesty, im sure he'll end up in the EPL soon enough along with Quagliarella and every other up and coming Serie A star (my bitterness is boiling).

I think Interitis has rubbed off on all of Serie A, every team has a growing stable of Argentines these days,,,, not that there's anything wrong with that

LOLzer.......hurhurhur.......one of the worst reads on a lopped ball ever, man.

7th might be a bit too optimistic, but I can definitely see them staying afloat rather comfortably this season, man. I've always had a soft spot for Walter Novellino and the brand of soccer that his teams play despite their lack of funds and quality personnel, man...... he just strikes me as a good human.

heh.....man, yer ragingly paranoid.....I swear. I can see him moving to any of the four big clubs, or to the ones just below them as soon as he starts getting appreciable recognition from the Italian NT, man.

If you ask me, it's the senior national team that doesn't do a good enough job of scouting out young talent properly and infusing them into the core personnel.

heh.....speaking of foreigner scum taking the jobs of good, honest and hardworking Italians, did you happen to get a good look at Mussolini's favourite club having no less than four Blacks on their roster? And with two of em starting? Man, I about fell off my chair laughing at the site of all those brothers in Lazio jerseys and ****, man..........this from a club who used to go out of its way in not bringing in Blacks and instead opting for much inferior Italians and South Americans and ****....Just a very bizarre scene, man.

Capela

Reserve Team
i don't know if you know but inter just signed pelé a portuguese midfielder with great potential, who reminds me of manuel fernandes
i think you made a great deal because he was cheap and he has potential to become a great player
probably he won't be in the first team this year but i think he will soon

^^^wicked......someone else as the last poster on the Inter thread besides me for once

Anyway, man. Is this that kid from the under 20s? I don't remember much of 'em, but if he's anywhere close to or similar to Fernandes, then I'll splooge my pants with delight!

We desperately need a dynamic defensive midfielder who enjoys the bone crushing aspect of the DM job as much as they enjoy going forward and kick-starting our attack from our own end.

I hope to God that he's patient, or either readymade, because otherwise, he's coming to one of the worst clubs around for young players to develop and see action. Inter is a Black hole for young'uns, man. We really don't know what to do with them, man, other than loan them out to clubs who under utilize them, or we just make them disappear somehow.

Anyway, let me welcome the kid by greeting him in his native tongue for a moment.......

Hola, Pele. Buenos dias.....felicitaciones......hasta luego!!!!!

I think they have a shot. 1-5 is already basically locked up (Roma, Juve, Milan, Inter and Fiorentina) and Palermo are likely gonna grab 6th,,, but after that its a tossup. Torino, Lazio and Sampdoria should all be up there competing for that final Uefa spot with Livorno, Parma and Atalanta all looking strong as well. Serie A hasnt been this evenly balanced in years.

There's only 2 ways up and coming Italian players get noticed by Inter, Milan or Juve. They have to prove there worth for the NT or they have an expiring contract or some other factor makes them available for much lower than there value. Quagliarella had a great season but really wasnt on anybodys radar until he scored a brace agaisnt Lithuania in June. What i find strange though is that these clubs seem to much more likely to gamble on a foreigner than on an Italian (or a foreigner in Serie A), even if they havent proved themself nearly as much. I find this strange because with an Italian or Italian based player, you know theyve already proven they can cut it in Serie A and that there wont be a transition. Thats why you see a club like Inter buying a guy like Rivas or Milan buying Grimi over Serie A players whove already proved themself. Strange.

Roma however seem to buy proven serie A preformers, and they play the prettiest calcio in the league. ;)

the NT scouting has been horrendous for years. How a guy like Miccoli is not a regular yet that sack of sh*t Del Piero continuously retains his place is beyond logic. Id love to see what a coach like Spaletti or Prandelli (who base selection purely on form rather than names) would do with the Azzurri. For a guy like Rosina to get a callup, hed have to play at least 3 times better than name players like inzaghi or del piero

I wish Lazio could pull a 'Fiorentina 2002' and go bankrupt, but only never come back to Serie A. I dont think anyone would miss them, theyre the most irrelevant top 10 club in Italy, and their elimination from the CL to a friggin Romanian club will only showcase how mediocre they really are. They were the 5th best club in a subpar Serie A last season, and only got into the CL because of Fiorentina's unjust calciopoli penalty. They also have an ugly style of play only rivalled by Cambiasso's hairline
