^^^Man, your phony nationalism and pride is both pathetic and sickening. Tell me, what exactly does it matter if it's an Italian or some foreigner from some random country who puts the ball in the net for his respective club so long as it does go in? Is the incident that much more significant just because the scorer or whatever happens to be a local? Honestly, it's ******* inconsequential and completely meaningless who's who and which guy is from where at CLUB level.

Club teams have absolutely no obligation or moral imperative to care about the nationality of a youth or a senior player, or the development of local talent......so long as they're not violating any league rules....WHO GIVES A ****?......we've discussed this **** endlessly before. It's up to the respective national soccer organization of that country to deal with that ****, and anyway, no foreigner is gonna supplant and take the jobs of capable Italian players or whomever, man. I mean, do you hear people whining and bitching about this sort of **** in the North American sport leagues, huh? Do you see people ******dly and xenophobically complaining about the makeup of say the Raptors or whatever? Or the fact that Baseball is predominately Hispanic now adays?

I mean, was there an outcry when we were lifting the league cup? Of course not. So STFU about this non-issue.

Now, about the midfielder problems.......here's our depth chart

Combover boy......hardly someone you'd mistake for a creative/attacking midfielder

Vieira..........same ****

Dacourt....again, same ****. He's hardly a creator/provider

Figo......aging and can no longer be counted on to play the full 90mins

Stanko......very attack minded, also a decent provider when properly utilized.....there, a first

Solari........under utilized massively

Cesar? **** that asshole....his Lazio days are way behind 'em, and the only reason he gets some burn is because of Mancini's serious bias and favortism

then you've got Maicon, Maxwell, and Zanetti who all moonlight as wingers, and in Zanetti's case, also DM from time to time........where's the creativity and dynamism from that list? The game deciding playmaker who can with his sheer will and brilliance lift the team from its habitual funks??

We were the best of a mediocre lot last year in the league. We played in a very predictable and mind-numbingly boring fashion and most of our goals were average and undistinguishable from one another. I mean, we got results, but that doesn't mean that one should automatically equate results with flair, creativity and style, cause we were far from that, man. We were ridiculously formulaic and that's what I'm worried about again this season, man.

We had a terrible habit of taking the lead early last year and then faultering and struggling in the second half.....this was largely due to our lack of a capable attacking/creative MIDFIELDER! You wouldn't be making such an ignorant comment about our midfield if you'd actually watched a single game of ours, honestly. We were probably the most boring and creatively barren side in the UCL last year, how can you claim with such emphasis and retardedness that we were lacking in that department for just that one game? How can you disregard the other 7 or so games so stupidly? Because you didn't watch and endure through the embarrassing (not the results, but the way we played) loss to Sporting, Bayern, hell even the two wins against that Russian outfit, THEY WERE ******* UNBEARABLE!!

We were the most dull and lackluster team in the whole tourney and he's giving me this ****, man?

That ******* post, man............it angers me to no end......just the nerve and aloofness with which he delivers it.....makes me wanna get all homicidal.

Just go back to yer futile and irrelevant self-imposed exile, man.

you gotta calm down, i was just pointing it out, Moratti has a fetish for South Americans.

I never said Inter set the world on fire last season, they just happened to be by far the most complete Italian side in a very subpar Serie A last season. Mancini likes to play with a flat 4-4-2, so until they get a new coach dont ever expect much exciting play, although they can get results. Inter is set in defence and attack, all they need is a flair winger in offence like Maxi Rodriguez, Dani Alves or Quaresma.

I think a 4-3-3 would also work, with Cambiasso, Vieira and Stankovic in the middle with Ibra, Suazo and Crespo/Adriano up front.

I watched most of Inters games last season, they were garbage throughout their entire CL season and only progressed to knockouts because of being a crappy group that allowed them to come back after horrible start. Inter wont get past the QF this season, theyre not built for Europe, Inter has lacked the passion in their players that Milan, Juve and Roma have posessed the past 5 or so seasons. Maybe its because they play with 11 guys from 11 different countries, maybe its the coaching, or maybe its the linguine

Regarding how we play and the personnel......seeee? You're again stubbornly harking back on the issue of nationality which is just ******* ridiculous because I don't see in the slightest how where they were conceived might have ****all to do with the boring brand of soccer that we play. Okay, the origins point might have had some validity to it if all these players were freshly off the boat and unadapted to their environment, but we've had no serious cohesion issues or discord at the club that might effect us seriously on the pitch (Adriano, just one man...okay, an important one, but his issue was as a result of his pop's unexpected passing...totally understandable and forgivable) , we just simply lack excitement and creativity, which I value greatly....sometimes even moreso than the actual results....I mean, a chunk of the flair-filled and offensively gifted players in most leagues aren't natives anyway, man.

Most of my anger is directed at one person.....well, also the front office aswell for not being aggressive enough in the transfer market, but mostly it's towards Mancini. Now here's a man who as a player was about as offensively gifted and creative at his position as they come. Someone who was very dynamic and passionate, and was on a lot of aesthetically pleasing teams, and as a coach, led a very attack minded and Imaginative Fiore and Lazio sides and yet when he got to Inter, he all of a sudden became a clueless bore who was overly cautious! WHY? Especially when he promised that he was gonna front a very exciting and attackminded side week in and week out when he was first appointed? I mean, he had a better calibre of players to work with here and he chose to go old school Italian on us without the TACTICAL knowhow and tinkering ability.

He was at one point the most promising coach in the Serie A, and now he's just settling into a coaching style that's painfully predictable and characterless.

I'm really curious as to what he does this season, with that league monkey off his back and all. I hope that he's less self limiting and that he experiments more with his formation and personnel this season, man.

I see a two DM formation and the not-so latent murderer in me wants to bear itself hardcore, man.

I think this is a friendly message like, 'hey, wanna play?',, and yes I wanna play. I really really do.

You seem very frustrated you beloved nerazzurri, despite the fact that they won their first title in almost 2 decades (even though it will have a small asterisk)... I wouldnt expect any changes in style of play though. No big signings have been made that would shake anything up, and Im banking on Mancio sticking with the game plan that won him the scudetto last season. The only guy who could perhaps shake things up a bit is Suazo, who i consider a sort of hybrid of Oba Martins and top finisher like Crespo. Luis Jimenez is talented, but a step down from David Pizarro. As much as Im glad to see him still around, I wouldve been curious to see who Figo's replacement wouldve been... speaking of which,

You got mildly aroused by Nasri, but i have to share a video of this guy. Like Luis Figo, I think Moratti should break open his oil covered piggy bank and splurge on this guy. He also has the distinction of embarassing Inter in a past head to head meeting. In the end though, I think he'll go to Chelsea, Liverpool, United or Madrid,, just like every other rising talent these days. (N)

^^Lozer.....right back atcha, man......choke on my throbbing gristle...you know you want to.

Regarding that Gypsy....Figo has already called 'em his successor at Inter. Now whether that's just typical media babble, or if he's actually having some serious dialog with the kid and persuading em to come here.....I don't know. I'd definitely prefer 'em to that Nasri kid no doubt simply because I've seen enough of em in live action and I know what an immense talent he is....it's just that his market value has ballooned to astronomical levels now that he's gone back home and has reclaimed his form and even improved upon it.....if we had shrewd and savy enough suits at the top, we would've pounced on 'em when he was floundering about at Barca and his worth was rock bottom.

Well, then you gotta sign Maxi Moralez. He was the second best player in the U-20 WC ;)

The poor bastard....what sort of abhorrent crime did he commit? I mean, why didnt some Spanish team take a flier on 'em? The kid is really good, man.

Russia is like kryptonite for South American soccer players, man.

Well, anyway. RIP to him, man, because we all know that he's being misled into some sort of labor camp, or some ****ed up white slavery scene.

Inter - Udinese
Stadio Meazza - Live on Five!

Inter open the defence of their title with a home clash against a new-look Udinese side hoping to cause a shock or two. The Zebretti were the only outfit to avoid defeat against the Nerazzurri in Serie A last term – picking up two draws – but Roberto Mancini’s side have bought wisely this summer and will be keen to get their campaign off to a flier.

The tone for last season’s Scudetto triumph was set in the opening week after a thrilling 3-2 win over Fiorentina, so Mancio and Co understand the importance of a good start. Fortunately, the tactician can call on almost a fully-fit squad, so all eyes will be on the sidelines to see which players are left out – namely Adriano, who was not called upon for the Super Cup defeat to Roma.

However, there are likely to be several changes from the side who fell 1-0 in the annual curtain raiser. Douglas Maicon should be back in place of Nicolas Burdisso, while fellow Copa America star Esteban Cambiasso is also tipped for a midfield starting berth in place of Olivier Dacourt. Tellingly, David Suazo should once again partner Zlatan Ibrahimovic in attack, suggesting that this will be Mancio’s preferred strikeforce for the coming season.

Should things not go to plan, there are plenty of options on the Inter bench though. Hernan Crespo, Julio Cruz and Luis Figo are all expected to be among the substitutes, indicating why the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza boys are many people’s tip for the title seeing as they have incredible strength in depth. But will their eyes be totally focussed on the domestic scene, given that they have made no secret of the fact that they want Milan’s European Cup crown more than anything else?

There are some doubts over whether Antonio Di Natale will play, but new Udinese Coach Pasquale Marino has plenty of options in attack for his Serie A debut with the Friuliani. Fellow summer arrivals Fabio Quagliarella and Antonio Floro Flores are both likely to start, with Gyan Asamoah accompanying them in a striking trident. The ex-Catania boss can also call upon Christian Obodo, whose brilliant campaign last time out was prematurely ended by injury.

Giandomenico Mesto should make his debut at the back after joining from Reggina in the transfer window, and he will be hoping to help Samir Handanovic thwart the Nerazzurri’s attacking threat as the ‘keeper makes his first Udinese appearance since the 2004-05 campaign. He’ll have his work cut out though, as Inter have not tasted defeat against the Friuli outfit during Mancio’s reign, with the Beneamata failing to score just once in that time.

Keep an eye on: Fabio Quagliarella (Udinese) – The revelation of last season has got a new home this year, but can he keep up the habit of scoring spectacular goals with more expectation on his shoulders?

Last season: Inter 1-1 Udinese

Form guide: Inter (- - - - -) Udinese (- - - - -)

Inter (probable): Julio Cesar; Maicon, Cordoba, Materazzi, Chivu; Vieira, Cambiasso, Zanetti; Stankovic; Suazo, Ibrahimovic

Udinese (probable): Handanovic; Mesto, Coda, Zapata, Felipe; Pinzi, Obodo, D’Agostino; Quagliarella, Floro Flores, Asamoah

WOOOT! Let's get this **** started, yalls.....tough game, this. Udi always play a very progressive and attackminded brand of soccer so we should be in for an exciting game, man.....so long as we come out lively and attackminded ourselves, of course.

Anyway, terrible news about Heroic Marco....he was absolutely immense for us last year....a true ******* warrior who guided and inspired us from the back.....very devastating and preventable loss, man.......in a ******* FRIENDLY!!!!

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

anyway......

Dear Lord, in the struggle that goes on through life, we ask for a field that is fair, a chance that is equal with all the strife, the courage to strive and to dare; and if we should win, let it be by the code, with our faith and our honor held high; and if we should lose, let us stand by the road and cheer as the winners go by. Amen.

that last part don't jive with this nigga, man.....I don't know what a "Good" loser is, man.....you either win, or WIN.....if, IF you do happen to incur a loss......then make sure that you come out of that loss in an exceedingly shameful state.

just discovered this cat while watching the Lazio/Torino game yesterday, man....impressed me quite a bit, actually their entire team did, but especially this dude....sorta reminds me of Miccoli....as tall as he is wide, unbelievable technical skill (you guys should really see the goal he scored yesterday.....pure magic and Negro Dynamism, man)

Anyway, I'd really like it if we picked 'em up.....I mean, he's perfectly suited for us! Aside from being highly skilled and all, he also just happens to be an Italian, and you know that we've gotta appease and accommodate Mikey, right?....we've gotta be in good standing with Mikey, man.

Anyway, this Torino side, man.....they're not shy and timid at all, man....they definitely live up to their nickname, you know?

I like that!
