PES6 pc Opinions

I dont understand why some of you said that the game is too slow compared with PES5. Are we playing different PES6?
The game has got a lot faster than PES5, and feels like PES4. The build-up now can almost skip middle field, diretly passing from side defender to the winger forward. For better or worse, the build up is much easier.

I played Chelsea, the London FC, in EPL. I just felt like I was playing PES4, which I liked a lot. The side attack is much easier than PES5. Defending is more difficult because CPU doesnt make mistakes much. One thing I found out, play the defense from behind, not face up, CPU almost alway doesnt realize there is somebody chasing behind to take the ball away. Play face up, CPU can pass your guy like he's nobody. The goalie is a joke. Peter Cech makes mistakes that even Dudek on his worst day wouldnt make. Corner is hard to defend too. The CPU can get to the spot first most of the time.

Speed kills CPU though. I use Roben on the side, he is almost unstoppable like the superman. I think passing got a little easier too. Just push x-x-x, you will not lose the ball easily. Massively swithing the point of attack like Dutch style always finds open space easily against CPU.

All in all, the game is different from PES5, which I am tire of already. Not as exciting as I expected, but I will take it for another year.

I like it, think its even more realistic.
The passing seems more fluid and I like the fact you need to be accurate or you kick the ball into empty space.

I also think that there are more quality players, not just Adriano with a ridiculous shot.
Played a game of 2v2 last night with some fellow evo-league players and it was a good laugh, think this gives it an edge over other games to be honest.

Some players need to give it time, its the same every year.

I mean I can also get past opposing defenders and score alot....online is the major culprit.
Already being involved in a 3-3 draw
5-3 win etc etc

I aslo noticed that, on line it's like a tennis set. The last 2vs2 ended up 6-5. It was fun, but not sure it felt real. I mean either u shoot ronaldhino or he is gonna kiss u good bye everytime he get the ball.

Btw, someone should explain to the the japs that in our alphanumeric system 6 comes after 4 and 5, and it is not in between them...........

The point isn't about whether they should have made the gameplay files modifiable or not, it's the fact that those changes that make a new game for you could easily be done by anybody with a brain and a reasonable knowledge about how the game plays. You may think of it as a new game if it makes you feel better, the fact is that there's nothing new to it. I don't ******* cry for any major updates or graphic revolution, I want the game to have at least some new content. A revamped ML for example. A new menu structure wouldnt hurt. Some new tactical options instead of removing the old ones. New shooting or passing animations (and I mean new, not slightly tweaked old ones). New grass textures (seriosly, is that too much to ask?) Anything to justify selling it for £30 FFS. If you're willing to throw your money away for **** all then by all means, go ahead. But this release still remains a goddamn disgrace.

I agree with you, 100%. I like PES6, but IMO it's where the series should have been a year ago, and now we should have something more 'evolved. If one was cynical one could almost believe Konami purposely did a **** job on PES5 so they could sell PES6 as a 'brand new game' just by removing the more blatant flaws of the previous version. It's not like something like this hasn't been done before in this busines.

OTOH, we are in a transitional period (next gen), so we should cut them some slack and hope they make a better effort for PES7. Overall, I am quite happy with it, even though I know it's less then I expected.

been a long time fan of pes and i havent really shared my thoughts on the previous pes before but i have mixed emotions about pes6. Love the fluid motion of the players, you feel like you have more control on your player and the quickness you can get from the passing, Ive created some great 3 pass moves that have ended in goals in the attacking area, great fun. BUT!!

Aside from the graphics/sound etc... I amazed at how quick the game is, is it just me or the game is running way too quick, and whats double speed for? its almost comical to switch that on and play, i feel like i should have some benny hill music playing in the background while im playing, its just silly, what it for anyway, possible speeding up managerial gameplay?

Also to add to the speed of things, I found many times that i had the ball in a comfortable area to only be attacked by a superman speed defender in a matter of seconds, this is displayed painfully in a break away charge to goal, there have been so many times where i've taken a through ball that splits the d and to be on my way to goal when a defender develops a few seconds of super speed to be able to catch up to me to defend the ball out for a throw/corner or even take the ball off me.

and to top it sometimes the animation of the players movement(especially running) looks like they are playing on ice, don't get me wrong the 'players' body animations are great its just something is not right about the players connecting with the pitch, it just looks like there sliding rather than actually stepping on the ground, like the players are floating in a way i suppose, hard to explain. hmmm

one last thing, do others find that when you are being defended in the box and only tab the shoot button your shot almost always results in the ball ballooning over the goals?

I more disappointment than impressed with this release, like people have mention before it feels more like a .5 release(and even a unfinished .5 release) and I unfortunately have to agree.

Obviously i will still play it and its still playable but dosent mean i can't be disappointed with some of the playing elements, went a whole year with pes5 like that, lol.

What a funny guy you are. Are you a comediant?

The game is great. If you don't want to play it, leave it.

If you think you can do better than Konami, start your own company. With you comercial skills, giving away your code and selling one game every 3 years you will broke in a few months.

There will always be something to complain about, I don't see the point why you always look the glass half empty. Why don't you train a bit more and enjoy the game as it is?

U surely belong to those without sense of humour. Why don't u go get some?

And what kinda argument is that one? If i don't like it i should make my own game. So you say everytime u dislike something u should first make your own things. So if u don't like the bread u bought u start ur own bakery?

Dude we buy the game and we are free to exchange our opinions. If ur pride is shaken by that go see someone and talk to them. It's called SeaBass syndrome..........

Dont' get mad at me, I was also joking about your comediant skills. :)

My argument is a bit exaggerated, I know. But if you don't like your the bread maybe you should go a buy bread somewhere else.

And about the Seabass syndrome, don't worry, I don't have it. It's just that I think the game is far better than PES4 or PES5. I really don't care if it took them 2 days of work or 1 year to get people's opinions and improve the game. It's a company, they win money by selling us games, and sometimes I don't get the point why some people is complaining. You are free to buy the game or not. You are free to play it or not.

Please, don't get me wrong. I accept your opinions and post mine and this is how a forum works. Hope we can help someone with this.

Because: no complaints, no changes.

PES fanboys LOVED PES5... "Best ever", "So realistic", "Love it", "Why are people complaining?", "Go play FIFA if you don't like it"...

Now turns out PES6 is miles ahead. Why is that, you think?

I personally thought PES5 recieved the worst feedback eversince the start of the franchise. The term 'more realistic' was used, but still, the complaints were too many.

Hi I have one problem with game! When I create cup with group & knock-out stage I can't set home and away format for k-o stage. Did Konami miss that?

For me PES6 is a very very very big disappointment !

1- same graphics pes4 pes5 pes6... 3 years long the same stupid graphics !!!!!!!!!

2- shots in pes6 are realy f***ed up !!!
they've tried to be realistic... but now it is completely over-realistic !

3- compared to fifa's manager mode... master league is below all levels...

4- about the licenses i don't want to say something...

5- finally : the gameplay ; game speed (BALL SPEED !) players movements etc... EVERYTHING is so slooooww !!!

please try this : play pes6 for just 1 hour....
then directly go watching real soccer on TV ----> you will be shocked !!!

so pes6 is a booooooooooring slooooooooooooow ans very "oldy" stupig game !

After the first five games or so I thought that PES6 is kinda crap. I liked the fact that it felt slower and more difficult than PES5. It did seem hard when I started my first ML with the default players (Dodo, Burchet...), but now that I'm playing with Chelsea it's pretty easy. I'm probably ready to start a new ML with the default players (but I hate them :D). Dribbling was very hard for me at first, but I'm getting better at that, too.

I do like PES6 more and more every day. It doesn't seem that slow anymore, I'm getting a hang of it. The ball seems very light though, and shots seem sloppy apart from a few exceptions. Goalies let in seamingly (that a word?) easy shots. However, I like the goalies now a lot more than in PES5. CPU will score if you give the chance, so you really have to be careful with their attacks. And thank God for the referee. Everytime we touch I get this feeling... that the ref is going to blow his whistle, because that's how it was in PES5. Now the ref is very good. My first game in PES6 didn't have any freekicks, 'cause I'm used to playing so carefully with PES5. Where are the linesmen? New animations are cool.

Difficulty level is 'Top player' and I'm playing on PC. IMO PES6 is the best so far but it's not perfect. New graphics for the next one, please.

I thought it was more difficult after a few matches, but I don't think so anymore. It's rather easy to score.

how do you score many goals, most of my shots blaze over the bar even with R2 pressed when the gauge bar is displayed??
