i wana ask, why d announcer told the manu supporter to stay put after d game is finish? is their something wrong? or history between this two? pls i wana know.. im not from europe... as u can see..

Its a usual thing after any game for away fans to be separated in such a manner to avoid conflict.

Similar to Utd vs Barca at the Nou Camp last season.

ba! i was waiting for someone to say that :innocent_smile_1:

Ronaldos missed pen chance, Brown and centre back, Hargreaves filling in at right-back. Beating them at old trafford. Played 9 times, beat them 3 times lost 2, drew 4.

Making it to the final, winning the final. European Champions!!

my rather botched thinking on the matter :innocent_smile_1:(Y)

Add to that, Glasgow isn't the nicest place to be for away fans after a footie match.

So are you saying Celtic's going to win it this time around, due to the similar defending? :D

You could've just used due to Utd playing AWAY at Barca as an excuse for parking the bus. :p

1-1 was a decent result at Celtic park. A lot of teams have been there and lost- including ourselves. It's a shame that they still have a chance of qualifying as we could have been through. You had to feel a little bit sorry for them though as they defended really well. Offtopic, but John Bostock made his Spurs debut the other day, looks like a prospect and hopefully he'll be playing for England one day. I wish more English players were coming through the premier league academies instead of poaching players from the championship, or even worse- not signing English players. Not that i'm saying there should be no foreign players, just more English.

Hopefully we'll win on saturday, they aren't in the best of form so it's a big chance.

Help?

Nice goal from Rafael. Can't say we deserved to win in the end. Our defending has been slack at times and if not for Arsenal's immaturity of being unable to keep the ball it would have been worse. Celtic trip really took its toll on us.

I dunno but i have a feeling i wouldn't want to be in that dressing room right now.
On another note, some people on the official united boards are giving up on the championship already. Pathetic. We're eight points back (assuming 'pool and cheslea both win) WITH a game in hand. That, to me figures as a five point gap. That's by no means a death sentence. Anyone remember 6 points back with less than ten games to go a couple years ago? Still won the championship that year...

Because Fergie stupidly took off Rooney and left on Berbatov.

Berbatov does not have the fight in him for a game like this. Sure when the game is going the way of his team, he does a few tricks here and there, but when you need a fighter with a lethal finish, Berbatov is not the man to depend on. He is a wimp and always has been.

With Rooney left on, you would of had more chance to salvage the point.

Gary Neville is finished. Sad but true.

I didn't think that Arsenal were any better than United today, but United did look jaded, and that must have been due to the Celtic game.

I was hoping for a draw so it's a dissapointment that either teams won all 3 points.

I am afraid i have to agree with pede on this one, Berbatov doesent have the fighter in him for this sort of game!
I think the best option today would have been: Tevez- Rooney

Nice goal by Rafael tho. The future looks sooner rather than later for him, looks to be a decent defender as well at the right WB position. If not for Bendtner's horrible finishing Arse could've won by more. Ronaldo blew Utd's best chance right after the 2nd Arse goal.

I was hoping for a draw too tbh.

Tevez did Carlos all when he came on (granted he didn't have the whole game) and Rooney's contribution was a couple of long shots which almost went into touch. At least Berbatov was setting people up.
