Bad news about Hargreaves. Out for the whole season! Damn. The thing with tendon problems is that its very hard to heal and never achieve full strength once damaged. Hope he gets rid of that knee problem soon. Must be very frustrating for him.

Well I hope that this cures it once and for all, I feel really bad for Owen - he was excellent when he played and I think United miss him too.

Sorensen had a horrible game and overall it was all too easy of a game, Stoke never troubled and made it far to difficult for themselves by allowing so much space.

Anyway good game, nice to see the youngsters pull off a great display, especially Evans who looks well composed and confident in defence. Wellbeck's goal was such a beauty, and once again Fletcher played his socks off making tackle after tackle. that was just class. Only positives about the game, no negatives.

Fantastic performance. Excellent to see Gibson and Evans getting playing time. And of course Danny Welbeck- what a great goal. Added to an Arsenal defeat makes a great weekend.

Second half we we were really on it, that's how to properly finish someone off! Thought Wellbeck's goal was a stunner - Cristiano certainly looks more like his old self again too.

There was talk about Ronaldo signing a new contract- not the sort of thing a Real Madrid bound player would do. Although the owners supposedly don't want to increase Ronaldo's salary.

Ronaldo? He doesn't look like he's reached the heights of last season, but he seems on form to me. 2 against Stoke and West Ham and 1 against Hull and 1 against someone else i think. Looks like he plays better at Old Trafford at the moment, but most players probably do anyway.

On form or not, you guys need him to deliver in the big games. Against Le Arse, he went missing badly.

I think that game was about luck as much as anything. Arsenal got a lucky deflection for Nasri's goal and Rooney and Ronaldo missed chances that 9 times out of 10 they would have put away. He did get the goal in the CL final, although he missed the penalty that could very easily have cost us the game. I agree that overall he doesn't perform in the big games but as Arsenal have shown you need to beat smaller teams to win too.
