4-4-2.

GK, DC: Basic instructions. The DCs are pretty quick.
DR, DL: Get forward, get involved, try to make plays. Both are decent passers.

DM: Destroys plays and tries to distribute the ball to the DLP or wide playmaker quickly to spring the quick strikers or the winger.

DLP: Plays in the CM spot but he sits back, has 20 passing and is a good tackler.

ML: Winger, my best crosser of the ball, he gets into the box late too.

MR: A wide playmaker, he's very good defensively so I tend to have him stay back a bit.

STs: Poachers, basically.

Depending on the opposition I'll change my tempo, defensive line, and attacking instructions. Against Inter (and Basel) I sat way back and hoped to clog the center to make them settle for long shots. Against everyone else (except Zurich who I play pretty cautiously) I have the attacking turned up a lot.

I've actually started scoring again, the issue was that Silvio was injured and he's my most dangerous attacker.

Yeah, I've been trying to find players who can win it and then cycle it around quickly, this combination seems to be working. I need better backup strikers though.

I generally go for the short passing too, but with Rupel Boom I'm finding the "high tempo" and more direct play to be efficient. I have two strikers instead of my usual lone one, so that might help.

Yeah, I like playing high tempo. I do it against every team except for the ones where I'm totally outmatched.

There are few things I enjoy more on FM than sucker punching a really strong team with a long ball over the top.

Came in second this year. A lot of games I would've lost last year became draws or wins this year on the back of my newly signed defense and goalkeeper. It's amazing what replacing slow guys who tackle poorly with fast-ish guys who are average tacklers will do for you defensively. I was hoping to keep it below 10 but 17 is fine considering it's a 30 goal improvement. My goalkeeper, the delightfully named Michael Casanova, was the highest rated player in the league this season. Not bad for a guy signed for $250k from the second tier.

Winterthur is a professional team now. That means I can start signing good pros instead of picking the best bits from the Challenge League and the scrapheap.

The kids won their league too, first time Winterthur has ever won it.

Team Ticino U18 is Bellinzona's youth team, I don't know why it has a special name.

It is, yeah. It seems like I'm playing either Basel or Young Boys every week and it gets kind of annoying.

Rotation depends a lot on form though I rotate the fullbacks and wingers for fatigue reasons and replace the new ones with the ones that won the Challenge League for me for a game or two before putting them back in for a long run. The strikers get rotated a lot because I'm impatient and don't want to wait for them to find form so I throw a new one in hoping he'll score. I swap out most of the squad in Cup matches, especially against lower league teams. Diethelm is the keeper for Cup games outside of finals.
