To me it's as ridiculous as asking "hey guys, which God should I beleive in?" :|
Not much worse than saying "I'm [include religion here] because my whole family believes in [insert religion supreme being]". While i don't think he should be asking people who to support, I believe you can have a real connection to a club even if you weren't born in the halfway line of their stadium...

I was just pointing out the ridiculousness of the original question, people support whatever club they do for their own reasons, I'm just saying that I refuse to beleive you can have any deep connection to a club that you just picked because you like their kit or the name sounds "cool", not to mention based on suggestions from an internet forum, etc.

"must not be relegated" I mean, c'mon.. :nape:

...and I wasn't even born on the same continent as the club I support so I don't know what point you were trying to make there, but hey, I agree...

I dont know which team I should support, because I like a lot of players from different teams, but I dont know which one is good to go for.

Heres some rules:
  • No bandwagoners may tell me to join their team
  • I like a mixture of youth and veterans
  • I like a rough kind of team.
  • No Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal or Man U
  • Must not be relegated
Thank You

You sound like a 2 year old that can't do something on his own.

With the way you're going, it doesn't matter who you choose, because it won't last.

You can't pick a team.

This aint the NBA or NFL, you dont just "pick" a team. You naturally get a liking towards a team and you form a bond that lasts forever. Kids these days... :nape:

Help?

You should support CSKA Moscow, they have youth and veterans, pretty rough on the field, won't be relegated anytime soon and they are the 2005 PREMIERSHIP champions!

Thanks for the patronizing, but in America we don't feel like you can just "pick" any team either. I'm from Wisconsin and there was never ever ever any way that I could have been anything other than a Packers fan. I think I would have been disowned by my family had I just chosen to support another team. Basically what I'm saying, is when you don't live in a nation with much of a league in a particular sport, you CAN just pick a team from a nation that does. Maybe at first you'll pick a team just because you like the uniforms, or whatever, but as you continue to follow them the connection and love will grow.

I think your club support should have somthing to do with your country in some way...
that should be the LEAST of the criteria....

Yeah, like in your case...should all brazilians quit Real, you wouldn't support them anymore, eh?

FULHAM!!!! :rockman: :rockman: :rockman: :rockman:

Ok so we're not that rough, but we do have Papa "The Wardrobe" Diop playing for us. We have an excellent blend of youth (Rosenior, Timlin) and Experience (McBride, C Jensen) as well as club favourites such as Bullard and Volzy.

We've got an nice cosy stadium, lovely fanbase and our games attract minimal amounts of twatish behaviour. I don't think the article Shifty gave you, while good, really addresses our club. We're top notch.

Hell we might get relegated, but you can bunch half of the league into that catergory, the whole "no relegation candidates" and "no chelsea, liverpool, etc." is close to contradictory such is the open nature of the bottom end of the table.

Bill Simmons is a shit human being who should die.

That's me in concise mode.

Dodging the accusation I see. He didn't write it, some reader emailed it in and Simmons put it in the article. So... which Wham! CD is the best? (H)
