There ya go here's your answer indirectly from a sore loser. Tottenham beat Inter, champions of Italy (.....not) today. They must be a great team if they can beat "almighty"(....not) Inter.

How can u not go with fkin Arsenal man. Finished 4th last season and we were still one of the most enjoyable teams to watch. Well maybe not for away games in that season. But still we got the largets margins of victories in the EPL in the last 2 seasons crushing the likes of Middlesborough, Everton, etc..... Not to mention Henrys unique goal blasting from anywhere on the pitch.

And the name says it all the GUNNERS. gun bucking at these wack ass mofos.

I dont know which team I should support, because I like a lot of players from different teams, but I dont know which one is good to go for.

Heres some rules:
  • Must not be relegated

You're losing it i.e. the meaning of becoming one. Once you pick a team, that team might relegate one day.

Thanks for your "support".....if you could call it that. My local team is Sydney FC and to my knowledge, they arent in the EPL. I dont want my team to be a terrible team, because they arent going to be on television here and if the team ends up being relegated, I will not be able to support them because there wont be any coverage of the 2nd Division games. I know you say a team picks you, but I have not yet watched any EPL matches, as I said before and I dont have a vast knowledge of it.

If you could get off my back about this, I am just trying to get a bit of help from people around here, but obviously getting a post to flame a new person asking for help is much more important to you than helping someone out.

Thankyou to those who have helped out, I will decide between these 7 teams.

-Middlesbrough
-Everton
-Tottenham
-West Ham
-Newcastle
-Fullham
-Blackburn

If you feel you wish to flame me about this matter, send me a PM about it and dont try to be big by attacking a new guy.

Sydney FC aren't crap. They're A-League Champions, and in the AFC Champions League. There are a few SFC fans on here.

That's weird and i don't understand it... my dad was a feyenoord fan, so was my grandpa, and so are my kids and all my family... I live close to Rotterdam, I go to their games and support them, i can't see how you can support the team with all your heart, if you have just picked it...it's a real feeling cuz it is all real close to me, and i feel like a live it. And btw, the team is like an ocean away from you, doesn't make sense to me. Sorry...it has to be true, i get sad when we lost, and fuccking happy when we win... :boohoo:

How about you let the team pick you, like someone has already said?

For example, I started supporting Barca when I accidentally saw them play a Champions League match. I saw them at my cousin's house because he was watching the match. I didn't know what the Champions League was, didn't know who the team in grey were (Barca, away kits), I asked my cousin about that particular team, and he told me: "Barcelona". They just caught my eye, you know? Everything about them.. They lost that match, and it was a downer, even though it was the first time I had seen them play. Then I started watching Barcelona everytime I could.. And now they're the only team I support. Man, I love them more than my NT. When they lose, I don't watch football until their next league game. If they lose a CL match on Tuesday, I don't watch the match shown on Wednesday.. that's the kind of love that couldn't develop had I chose them. They have chosen me in a way..

My advice is, watch those seven teams play, and you'll develop an affection for one or more.

Dodging the accusation I see. He didn't write it, some reader emailed it in and Simmons put it in the article. So... which Wham! CD is the best? (H)

Simmons should still die, and 'Make it Big'.

So what? People don't choose where they're born. They can choose the style of football they like though.

Living in Brazil and supporting Liverpool didn't prevent me going berserk when beating AC Milan in the CL, or being sad when Man U got that last minute goal... so, yeah, I get sad when we lose, and happy when we win.

I totally agree with you.

Living in the US, I never really got a chance to watch any soccer. One day my mom calls me downstairs because Figo is being awarded the World Player of the Year award on the portuguese news. Believe it or not, at that time I had no idea who he was. Regardless, seeing a portuguese person being awarded such a great honor filled my heart with national pride. I decided to learn all about Figo and that of course led me to Real Madrid.

At the time, Fox Sports World was the only channel(other than a rare CL game on ESPN2) that had games. I started watching EPL and Bundesliga games while following Real Madrid on the internet. I grew to like watching Manchester United and Bayern Munich games, but they never got me as nervous or excited as waiting for a score to update on Real Madrid's website. By luck I found a restraunt that showed all the Real Madrid matches from a Latin ESPN. It was a pain in the ass going there, cause I would have to buy lunch and then eat it real slow for 2 hours. Luckily GolTV was created and everything became alot easier.

When Figo finally left Real Madrid last year, it had no impact on me at all. At some point in the first season that I followed Real Madrid, it stopped being about Figo and it became a passion for the club. Everytime we score I jump out of my seat and cheer. Everytime we are wronged I curse uncontrolably. Real Madrid is part of my life now and is bigger than any one player. It started very humbly with an interest in Figo and turned into a club that I will support until the day I die.

Real Madrid chose me that day my mom called me downstairs.

Make America Great Again
Don't give me that "let the team choose you" bull****. Oh what a surprise, both of you guys conveniently chose the far superior team that has enough of a fanbase in America to be on television. Not everyone is going to accidentally turn on a soccer game and see one team the first time they watch the sport. Some people get hooked by the World Cup and International game and then since they like it transition into following a league. It's not fun to follow a league without a team, so they choose a team. There's nothing wrong with that, and they'll likely pick a less glory hunting team than all of you people who "let the team pick you."
