I'm also very very glad about Mantorras! :rockman: It was such a tremendous joy seeing him score and how happy he was! :)

When he played against Sporting, I already left a message about him in here, so I'm not going to repeat myself.

I only want to remeber people that although he has returned and is already playing well and scoring, he isn't fully recovered yet. He needs to play little by little and not make too much effort, so I hope there is no rushing by Benfica in putting him playing more than he should. A mistake like that now would certainly end his career definitely, let's not forget about that...

I just hear on the radio that the Angola NT coach wants Mantorras to play in a friendly next month already.

WTF...He's not even 100% and could risk injury. I bet then he was injured the coach didn't even call him to see how he was doing and now all of a sudden, he calls him up to say what's up. If he get injured who's going to pay Angola! No SLB invested too much to let him play.

it seems that Guimaraes rejected our offer for Nuno Assis. Dunno what more they want for a player that can come free in 6 months

Greedy f*cks :f***:

I also read that Juventus are ready to splash 12million € for Miguel right away. He's worth more atm if you ask me. 15-20million

IMO Miguel is not worth 15-20m €.

We bought Zlatan for 16m.

Roma bought Chivu for 12m.

Miguel is worth 20m if Chelsea make you a bid.

well my opinion is there isn't a better right back in the world atm. (Puyol doesn't play as right back anymore) If you want the best you pay the right price, if you don't want to pay our price he stays. Don't compare it with positions like striker where you have lots of market to choose from.

If Paulo Ferreira was sold for 20 million even if it was to Chelsea, Miguel is worth 15 million no doubt about it.

Tiago was sold for 12 million and he was worth more. I don't think they'll do the same mistake again but hey, given that our president is an as*hole I wouldn't be too surprised.

Agreed. Honestly i think Miguel is worth about 10-12m. But if we look on the long term, if Miguel settles well in Serie A and produces the same kind of quality performances as in Benfica, i think maybe he is worth a little more ( I remember Manchester United fans whining about the fee they payed for Ronaldo and now they consider it a bargain). With his age and potencial, i think he could be a crucial figure in the beginning of the much needed process of rejuvenating Juventus defence.

I still remeber we could of had C.Ronaldo for SALAS and some $$$(not a lot).

Salas refused to go there. *bastard* (H)

Lol i remember that. Well im really rooting for someone to go to the Serie A because if we don´t have portuguese players there we can´t watch Serie A games. We usually can watch a game on Sunday (at 14pm portuguese time) which is usually a Ac Milan match. I never had any particular interest on this team and Rui Costa doesn´t even start or even play anymore (only 10 mins a match). If Miguel goes to Juventus perhaps we can watch one more Serie A match per weekend. Currently we get to see 2 to 3 Epl games (mostly Chelsea and Manchester United) on Saturday and 2 to 3 La liga (Real Madrid, Barcelona and very few Deportivo or Valencia) matches during the weekend. If we get more players (Besides Rui Costa (Milan), Fernando Couto(Lazio) and Vidigal, the Livorno superstar :crazyboy: ) in Italy we will prolly have the oportunity to watch more Serie A.

Nuno Assis deal is confirmed. He and Maxi will probably watch Benfica-Beira Mar live in Luz stands.

Now we have options, just left a good RB to be an option for Miguel IMO.

we need a winger to replace Geovanni... he's crap. Unless we start playing Mantorras on the wing when he's back.
