I consider it some therapy... after losing 4-1 to Udinese i had to do something (who actually llead now after about 20+ games, i'm 5 points behind in 5th but with a game in hand against all the top teams)

Last night i beat Roma 6-1, and Inter 4-0... but then again i also lost to Inter 3-0 and got hammerd by Juve twice (or should i say Del Peiro, since he scored all their goals except one, against me in both games)

Ah the ups :) and downs :( of Fifa2004...

With a lot of games.... i dosovered that oin PRO and WC....you have tod efend like crazy because the AI is SO cheater.

I mean:
"the enemy is approaching your goal,,, but u attempt to take the ball away fom them with effort. Luckily, the ball rolls a little into another eney player who was just coming and he pass the ball RIGHT AWAY before it reaches him... to a player that is inside your GK area. Yopur defenders were advancing automatically because u have just right tackle the ball away from a player right???, but NO... the AI pass the ball to an unmarked player in front of ur GK with nothing that u can do.
AND THIS HAPPENS A LOT

Some of the tips which spurious said are very very useful... i knew some of them already.

Because of this... i use very defensive formations to have a lot of players IN CASE of this AI super tricks....and play mainly bal possesion and fast counter attacks.


Hey have u noticed that in Pro Level and WC.... the goalkeepers are a little BETTER??

IN one opportunity in won against mlan 2-0 with easy goals outisde the area. I did the same shots against milan in pro and WC and DIDA stopped almost everything. INCREDIBLE:f***:

Another TIP.....

If you are starting CAREER MODE... Try to buy this players right away.

- Thomas Rosicky (B Dortmund)
- Bixentre Lizarazu (B Munich)

Before buying them,... i already knew that they were good as both are some of my favs players in real life, but they are very cheap in comparison with the lot that they can give to your team :confused:

For example, I bought rosicky for a very acceptable price in my second season. Since then.. i have kept training him in shooting (because he already have excellent ball dominion, passing and dribbling...and good average shot). Right now he is the stronger shooter in my team..... with ShtAcc= 98 and ShtPwr= 90. And the best is that in comparison with Zola (who cost 1000 PPoints to train in shooting since the begining) he is so cheap to train,,,just 350 in shooting i think. He have crazy stats.. and cost in my team just 1.5 millions:confused:
The Bad point about rosicky is that he get fainted very quickly and u have to rotae the team a lot and have a player with playmaking characteristics to be his cover.


Bixente Lizaraxu: He is a left back, and he cot 1.9 millions.
But the guy have just excellent dribbling and ball control stats.... excclent shooting, marking, and tackling. He cal play in EVERY DEPARTEMENT on the field!!! Is incredible that he is just 1.9 millions... in comparison with Thuram that is costs more than 10 millions and is slightly better than him!!!:o

This 2 guys have been my best purchases ever!!!

Just train Rosicky in shooting a little and he will become and unstoppable goal machine!!. I use him as a playmaker and he just rocks!!

3 things

1) get in front of the defender - key
2) pressing the heading button just as the ball arrives
3) for headers further away from the goal, direct the ball towards the inside of the post - watch how many the CPU scores via the post!


No bicycle kicks yet here!

tyhere are more or less a month since the game release and no one have fiured how to do bycycles and over heads...

they are NOT in the game.

tricks and tips?

well...if you people who read this are Manchester United fans, you might as well try this. I put Ruud Van Nisterlrooy in Ryan Giggs position, than Folan will take over Nisterlrooy's position, it will be so freaking easy! you just have to pass the ball to nisterlrooy at wing play, than u let nisterlrooy dribble all the way till you feel like crossing. the way i dribble is hold E ( mine's Pc) to run, than press the arrow keys..... good luck! :)

Can anyone tell how to use freestyle with KEYBOARD? I have learnt to use it perfectly in FIFA2003m, but in 2004, i never ever managed any trick. Please help me :)

yo kwan.. ..presss the R2 button..wen ure player starts to slow down to a trot....u have to move the right stick in directions and in combinations...for e.g press R2 (keep it pressed) then move right stick from right-up-left....ure player wil do a 360 spin....press R2 then move right stick left-up...ure player will bring bal back with his studs and hit it from behind his leg .....
keep in mind..... go to practice...try diff combination...and oh..i almost forgot......move it in circular motion...like..wen doind 360 spin....move it right then in a circular movement..move it up then right..good luck :rockman:
