hmm ... maybe the problem is ... i am using Third Devision Oxford United ...

another tips is ... try bring the ball to the wing then quickly pass the ball to the player in the box, as the player get the ball quickly shoot the ball at the right angle (it should get in easily) ... good luck!

use the red cirlce as a key... start ur run BEHIND the defender when the red is 1/3 to 1/4 left in red... understand?

We are talking about the PC version ... and there is no red circle on the keybored

...he means the red circle that ticks down at the bottom left hand side just prior to a corner being taken. With it disappears, the corner is taken.

oh . i got it
but for me scoreing from a corner is not hard ... i sometimes score by a diving head and other times by a simple head

Its real nice of EA Sports to tell you in the instruction book some of the finer points of the game............

Here is my problem- I use the R2 (walk) button to face a defender, then I press the Right analog stick up, down and all around !!! NOTHING !!!

My guy will do a stepover, but will not move forward past (thru) the defender.The defender will watch me do the stepover, and then just walk up and take the ball from me.
This is very frustrating, especially when I'm Juventus playing against a 3rd div English team

Any suggestions ??????

2 trick your opponent you do:

first push R2 then simply push your right analog stick away from your oponents player left or right.

now he will come 2 you then do the trick you want 2 do. He will automaticaly fall for it.

could be bad english

ps2 online-i cannot score for the life of me!even though in a lot
of games i have control of the game.can anyone fix my problem?
i can score o.k when playing against cpu.i can score pretty good from corner's and free kick's-but that is it basically.

p.s,i don't know if it matters,but i use the old controls(not the analogue stick),as i have had every fifa since it was on the mega drive.this one however has baffled me how to score

Thats funny, because most of my goals come from the midfielders (Nedved, Tacchi, Davids, and even Maresca) rather than from the forwards

Still battling to figure out how to get my player with the ball thru the defense, the R2 and right analog stick dont allow me to go past the defenders

Most of the time, when my goals come from the strikers, it's usually the result of sending someone down the wing, and placing a perfect cross, or using the off-the-ball feature to send a striker on a run.

the goalie hit like 3 out of 5 1-to-1 ... i had tried shooting at any angle other than straight ... but he still got it ...

I'm not sure about this but i think that the CPU makes the player move so that he blocks the shot. Again, I don't know for sure.
