And he is perhaps being a prick cause ppl from PORTUGAL already explained you the problem and you still keep on going with your interpretations when it is clearly explained already. Cmon do you really think you no more than the portuguese ppl? I don´t go around disserting about the roots and the translation of Criciuma because i don´t know any thing about them.

I'm saying that in my opinion there's no harm in calling the god damn club Sporting Lisbon and it's used as an translation (almost an translation, as there's no Lisboa in the name but it's widely spread and common to call them Sporting Lisbon). You dont need to imply that i think i know more that Portuguese people for christ sake.

And i gave Inter and Milan as examples, not Criciuma so your point is useless in this subject.

Just 'cause all around the world we're being called like that , doesn't make that a proper translation , neither it gives some kind of validation. And i'm not gonna insist further in this question , you're wrong , you know it , and i repeat , once again ... it's neither the kind of argument " oh that name in commonly used " nor the " oh is institucionalized all around the world " that validates the use the erroneous use of Sporting Lisbon as translation for Sporting Clube de Portugal.
