damn he is ****in built! He did pretty well in the 1st preseason game against Utah, but I doubt an unknown like him will win a spot for the actual season.Carlos*y said:hopeunited - have u seen toree morris... this guy looks build... but it all depends on skills
pic from raptors training camp
Carlos*y said:wow.. the game between the raptors and Maccabi Tel Aviv was pretty good.... down to the last second... anthony parker is an amazing player... don't know why he isn't in the nba... he is at least on the same level as rip hamilton....
the euroleague champions won 103-101 in the end...
they were league champions 45 times since 1954 and didn't win it only 6 times..
LOL wtf?? dominating!! they also were euroleague champs in 2004 and 2005.
from the knicks mainpage on nba.comAllan Houston, one of the greatest players in New York Knickerbockers history, today moves from playing professional basketball into the next stage of life.
Parra Power said:i assume they are dumping the division champion guaranteed top 3 in western conference then
ShiftyPowers said:Are we still doing predictions? Well first of all you guys should be ashamed that no one has mentioned the Bucks yet. Ford, Redd, Mason, Simmons, Bogut, J. Smith, Gadzuric. Come on, that's better than the freakin Magic and Sixers.
Here's the correct prediction:
East
1) Indiana Pacers - guys, this is a STACKED team with a ridiculous amount of talent, more talented overall than Miami
2) Miami Heat - two players can lead you in the NBA, but it won't give them the 1 seed.
3) New Jersey - yeah, they're probably the best in the Atlantic, but I like Boston to maybe sneak in and take the division
4) Detroit Pistons - can't disrespect the two time Eastern Conference Champs who took the Spurs to a dramatic game 7 only a few months ago
5) Chicago Bulls - too young and good to ignore. They might suffer from the Eddy Curry situation because they lose one of the best young centers in the league, but they're loaded with young talent
6) Boston Celtics - Nice young core, some veteran talent. They definitely will make the playoffs and they might get the 3 seed by winning the Atlantic.
7) Milwaukee Bucks - I can't believe you guys are writing them off. They are experienced, exciting, and put together masterfully. They will make the playoffs.
8) Washington Wizards - Nice team, I like these guys, they should go back to the playoffs.
No Cavaliers (it's a one man show, and I'm sorry, but Luke Carlos*son and Robert Traylor aren't giving you 41 wins) and no Sixers (They have a little more than the Cavs, but Dalembert has no heart and the two AIs aren't going to win enough games by themselves for this team to beat out the other 8 teams)
West
1) San Antonio Spurs - Can't doubt the Champs
2) Houston Rockets - They really put it together at the end of last year and I think they can make some major noise in the league this year.
3) Dallas Mavericks - They are the Oakland A's of basketball. They'll always make the playoffs, but never win it all. Dirk has no heart and you KNOW that's true.
4) Denver Nuggets - Good young team with toughness, but they definitely lack in the leadership department, so I won't read too much into their second half last year.
5) LA Clippers - Hey come on now guys, they're good. There's just too much talent for them to suck again and they probably have the absolute best young point guard in the NBA. Livingston is most definitely the real thing, and it's not really even up for debate.
6) Golden State - I don't know how they did it, but they went from complete garbage to a really solid core in about 2 minutes sometime last year. These guys have TALENT. Baron, J-Rich, Pietrus, Dunleavy, Biedrins (he's good, trust me), Murphy. I like.
7) Sacramento - With Peja and Bibby, there's just no way they will ever miss out on the playoffs. It just won't happen.
8) Minnesota - Ok, this is just because I think they have some good players and while everyone I talked to thought they threw away their pick in the draft by going for McCants, I think it was a really good pick. KG is a top 5 player without a doubt and for some reason I can see them sneak into the playoffs.
No Suns (Steve Nash wasn't the MVP of the Suns last year, it was Amare. After him it was Johnson. After him it was Marion. Then comes Nash. Now it's Nash and Marion all alone and with all due respect, that ain't exactly Shaq and Wade. Nash can't win without talent around him and he doesn't have any this year) and no Sonics (I have no idea how the two headed monster of Luke Ridnour and Antonio Daniels led them to that amazing season last year, but I have a feeling it was all Nate Macmillan.... and he's in Portland now).
Who's PUMPED for basketball season! I'm starting to see the NBA on ESPN ads and my anticipation is just out of control. I don't remember ever in my life as many legitimate superstars in the NBA! Duncan, KG, Shaq, Wade, Bron, Artest, JO, Kidd, AI, Dirk, T-Mac, Kobe, and perhaps Yao. And with the exception of Yao, they all play so great that you really look forward to seeing them play! I mean, they're all so dynamic and good! That's 10 teams represented, so you ALWAYS have one of these guys going every single night. This season is gonna be sick.
