Middle East war

Aha religion. So it's not about a country being installed upon another one, with the latter being massacred out of their lands. It's about religion.

Funny tho jews have always been part of the arab community hundreds of years before Israel was ever established. If u repeat the Israeli experiment in whatever country, with whatever people, who practice whatever religion, the result will still be the same. Injustice.

So 1st u try associating Al-Qaeda with hezbollah, and now, u turn the Israeli-Arab conflict into a religious one. Even US media gave up on that one years ago.

And "War is part of life". Can't argue with that. Go on flatten a entire country, u've just won the lamest argument ever.

And about "the modern world" discussion, Israel is the last and only colonial occupying country on the planet. I can't help but imagine which age this belongs to.

Um, Israel left Lebanon 6 years ago... Since then Hezbollah has beefed up it's forces in the area, and about a month ago attacked the IDF. It was unprovoked and an act of war. Your arguement about installing countries is stupid. Israel has given in to world demands, not always to the extent that everyone wants, and all they have received in return is more violence directed towards them. You must not understand that the goal of the Palestianians, Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah is the complete destruction of Israel. I say... Let the best country win in an all out war.

And actually, the Jews were around before the days of the muslims and christians. But somehow it's the Jews who are evil and "occupy" land.

I never mentioned Al-Qaida at all, and not compared to Hezbollah. They are two seperate organizations with different goals. Both are terrorist groups however.

Whatever the injustice in history regarding how Israel was formed, maybe it's time for the arabs to give up and try living in peace with the people. Nothing is going to change, Israel isn't going anywhere, so why don't the arabs "give peace a chance?" Oh right... they've been brainwashed and used by middle eastern governments to deflect the bad situation they live in for decades.

Give up already.

Right... "soldiers." Get my point yet? More and more scams are starting to come out regarding photos... the media has taken sides and can never be trusted again.

So you are telling me that CNN and BBC rush from Lebanon,, through a war zone, to get to Israel to cover the missles hitting there? Come on... they have people in Israel already there! That's all I was saying and I guess you missed the point completely.

No, thats not what you were saying. Quite clearly you were saying that the BBC and CNN operate in Israel, and they don't operate in Lebanon, hence the capitalisation you gave the word NOT. The fact is, both broadcasters have bureaus in both countries, rendering your statement factually incorrect.

Guys, your talk here is pointless. Stop making yourself feel important, sitting in your chair in front of your PC. If you actually want to do something about this war, posting on soccergaming, is defiantly not good enough.

Peace. :ewan:

And posting on SG about your favorite football team will have absolutely no effect on how well they play each week, so you can do the decent thing and take your own advice and go away.

It's so convenient how u choose to disregard the posts that negate a direct discussion of yours.

Again, about Israel's withdrawal '6 years ago' from Lebanon after a military defeat (anything but UN compliance plz, it just sounds funny)
There are these issues left that Israel has decided to NOT negotiate for:

Shebaa Farms.
Over 130,000 Unnegotiable Israeli land mines, turning the entire region into a deadly useless piece of land.
Hundreds of Lebanese prisoners abducted with no trial from Lebanon.
Israeli refusal of signing an agreement regarding these points.

During these 6 years, Hezbollah has only targeted military targets in Lebanese land. What a viscous "terrorist" organization indeed.

Taking 2 soldiers into captivity from a country ur already in war with. To exchange them with other prisoners who were abducted from the 1st country during the 2nd country's 22 year long occupation. Warrants flattening down the country if u ask me. However, these prisoner exchanges have always occured between both countries since Israel refused to comply with a 'weaker' country in a peace treaty.

You gotta love the scene of the gangster holding a blood-stained club in his right hand, 2 parents from the neck, with his left hand, and screaming to their children in front of him, "Isn't it time u lived in peace?"
Actually it's much different these days than the 1960s. Arab countries are willing to live in peace with Israel (despite its illegal establishment) in exchange to the 1967 borders. And Hezbollah has repeatedly offered Israel such peace treaties, which Israel felt unobliged to comply to, given than it could step into the country anytime and flatten it down.

And nice try about the media bias. It's a first timer I got to say.

Who cares. We're all doomed to non-existance in the end anyway.

Who ******* cares.

God? No, god doesn't exist so go destroy your mothafuggin temples and get this over with or rebuild it or whatever. Then you'll realize that "Holy ****, it's a ******* fraud!"

Or not. You'll keep on believing.

Anyway, hail Satan or hail to the immediate death of nationalism and hail to decades/centuries of murder for a ******* piece of dirt (that's what it's always about anyway).

****ers.

If only motion could be detected when ur on the moving body. But it can't. A part of you has to be outside the train, to detect its movement. And same applies to time. You cannot feel time pass, if ur wholy passing with it. Part of you has to be independant from time, for you to sense it passing. And so on.

And regardless ur beliefs, try someone breaking into ur house, killing ur family and settling in. Now if u decide to treat ur wife and children as "dead flesh", and ur house as "piece of dirt", and go look for someone else to start a family with on a different land before ur time's up and come "non-existent", then that's one sad materialistic end to a failure of a belief.

Joe

Actually your belief would be the materialistic one.

You are saying that a piece of land will make you happy. Pretty much textbook materialism.

And oh, I understand your argument too, I'm not condoning either--any--side.

You're all idiots as far as I'm concerned.

Not the land, but the sense of belonging to it, serving it, and it serving u in return. Not the person, but the fact that this person is from u. The relation between things. Not the wood that makes the house, but the effort u put into bringing this wood together.

Cruising into life to ultimately satisfy one's needs before this one's time is up is chaotic materialism where everyone will ultimately step over each other. And indeed, homes will be regarded as "dirt", and family will be regarded as "flesh", and whatever made us humans will be no more, for one to satisfy his needs till the very end.

and to that joe guy, who cares than, why americans fought against the british to win independece, or why did those brave soldiers gave up their life in alamo? people fight for their freedom, they fight for their homes.
and you know what i think, i think its YOU thats stoned all the time, and have bob marley pictures all around your wall, and all you probably do is to talk about peace and love, but at the end, you worth nothing. you know why? because you are at your house, far away from the chaos and war, and all you do is commenting on how stupid the fighting in middle east is. friendly advice, just watch the super bowl and get stoned.

Sounds ******* rad to me.

Too bad the rest of the world doesn't just do the same thing, huh? You know, it could start with you. You could be a hero, you could start the revolution, you could create peace in the Middle East!

How you ask?

By watching the Super Bowl and getting stoned instead of worrying about a piece of land and getting so ripped you don't give a crap about who lives there.

So lead by example and stop hating--get baked and watch sports instead, go fly a kite with your friends, go get on some hot broads, play with kittens, then maybe then my friend, the world has a chance at peace.
