not really, since it was a two footed challenge it might be that the intent is considered there innately. its hard to say since this sort of thing isnt actually written into the rule book. its just covered under the dangerous play clause and the ref's get their directives to what is "dangerous play" in a briefing at the start of the season.

Read the three points and tell me there is a case where all three can be present and still not be a red.

Didn't he do the tackle with only his right? He slid in and used his right foot to beautifully perform a tackle that took the ball from the opponent without touching him.

I still think red was harsh but that was a dangerous challenge for sure. If he caught his leg, that would've caused some damage. If there was contact then I would say thats a red for sure even if he won the ball but I don't know if this kind of tackle warrants a red with minimal contact.

The only reason why he's been at United for so long. I truly wished we had a central midfielder who could score from midfield. Every big team has a central midfielder scoring on a regular basis. We've got all the **** midfielders.

EDIT: Just 1 million for Gibson? WTF we could've gotten 5-6 millions easily from him. I know he's crap but I'm sure many teams from the lower half would want him just for his long range goals.
