Jesuschrist, we can´t be in peace even with a 3-0 for us!! (Almost 4) and with one more player! And I HATE men who are on the backstop in freekicks, they always stay statics!! I remember a Fabio Aurelio freekick in 2009, that the backstop stayed static, Cabaye´s freekick past Wednesday the same, now Kolarov, and almost on the final of the match.. THANKS TO GOD that Scholes came back, easily we got the ball 25 minutes thanks to him.. I don´t know if we are in good way, but luckily we got Smalling back and Ando have been playing quite well lately.. And finally, we need another GK, i really don´t know what Lindegaard wanted to do in Aguero´s goal, beyond the rain.. (If Scholes came back, can´t van der Sar come back too? )

I think the red card was absolutely spot on and I truly believe i'm not being biased at all. Ronaldo got a red card for a similar lunge against City like 5 years ago, and nobody complained.

Look at the facts, Kompany dives in with both feet, both off the groun and studs up. Easily a leg breaking challenge, lucky for Nani he didn't get caught in the studs.

I wouldn't have given a red, simply because he didn't touch him.
Like many other areas, this is one where we need clarity. Every two-footed challenge is an automatic red, usually. This one was harsh and the ref was forced to make a decision which wasn't the right one in my opinion.
