new season and a new thread. looking good.

Looks like we got Jones. here's to hoping his many successes in the red of manchester.

Jones deal completed! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6988252,00.html

Other good news: Looks like Gibson is leaving for Sunderland too (H). 5 mln.

With 3 midfielders gone (Hargreaves, Scholes, Gibson), I'm pretty sure Fergie will be going for a midfielder or maybe several.

I don't have much hope in Cleverley TBH. He's 22 this year and has 0 senior appearances for us. If he was really that good, he'd feature in Carling Cup. His goals for Wigan and Watford don't mean much. Remember how Kieran MopHead impressed for West Brom too?

Did you see his goal against the MLS all stars last season? Cleverley is class, and i have no problem letting go of Gibson (a player I have liked and had high hopes for now for a few seasons) if Cleverly can come good this season, I want to see him get given the chance!

Yes that was a superb goal. But Gibson too scored screamers. Few beauty goals don't mean a player is class. I really hope he proves me wrong though. He looks like a determined lad.

awesome new thread..new season.

Btw, looks like sanchez is heading to city. Pity that, if we r going to get ashley id rather we get sanchez but he will cost a bomb.

Midfield is the priority though. Hoping for some quality signings.

I can barely a recall a time when we didn't meet in one of the last few matches.

Although I think 2008-09 was like that.

they are so... um. im not talking about losing, im talking about draws. these teams can cause us a lot of problems, especially since you would expect them to be fighting for something at that stage of the season. yes, our home form is impressive. especially looking at last seasons home results. that doesnt say anything come end of next season.
