The black kits have been cool, especially the first one by Nike...2003 or 2004 was it?

Also, if the ****ers wanted to embrace the industrial history, they should have made a green-gold kit, but that won't happen any time soon, huh.

I don't know if you all realize it, but you sound like a bunch of spoiled and pampered little bitches when you complain about not spending a ridiculous amount of money because other teams are doing it.

I don't know if you realize it, but you sound like an "Occupy Wall Street" protester.

If you don't care to read and understand the post, don't comment on its contents. Will you sit quietly, when the company you work for is being run into the ground with the owner taking the cash and laying you off? Bet, you'll say "that's life" then too.

The problem is not so much about us spending but us buying **** to mediocre players, mostly onto positions for which we don't need new players. No matter how **** they are, they're still getting the Man United-esque wages. Young (17 mil), Hernandez (6 mil), Bebe (7,4 mil), Obertan (3 mil), Diouf (2 mil) + Michael Owen's wages - we should've just "save up" for 3 years and get a class, proven midfielder or two.

I think that's another story, dude. You support the team. You don't work for them. Their financial "problems" won't keep you up at night, because aside from liking Man U, you gain or lose nothing from them.

The premise of your bitching is because your team choked on winning the EPL and Man City is in the drivers seat to win it. Now your eternal cop out is blaming the owner.

He gets it. Not surprised about it, either.

Okay, well clearly someone is driving this club to the ground, could you please enlighten me as to who that might be, if not the Glazers?

And you are right, if the team I supported my whole life becomes a mid-table club, my life will be affected to the extent that I will have a couple of joyous moments absent, that otherwise should have been there. But isn't that the premise of supporting a club, which justifies my "bitching"? As for you, it would be much more appreciated if you read what I said objectively and replied objectively or didn't reply at all...

"You should just stop bitching" reply is not objective. The team I care about is being run into the ground and I'm making a point about whose to blame, given that a number of members in the past have been talking about how great the Glazers have been. Add something constructive

clash: Young and especially Hernandez have been super buys, so cross them off your list. We barely pay Michael Owen and the other two could have gone either way, but as you see we spent peanuts on them. Now if you add all those wages up and multiple by a few years, I'm willing to bet that you won't even have more than $20 million. To buy a real decent midfielder we need $40 million at least.

This is the biggest crock of **** I've ever seen on these forums.

And Chicharito, while being better than anyone expected, and a very good player, was not a good investment for a "struggling" club, if that's what you claim to be. You had Danny Welbeck BEGGING for playing time, and more than good enough to get it, and then you spend your money on Chicharito? Hmmm.... Bebe is obvious senility by SAF getting completely swindled by an agent. Young was superfluous (Nani and Valencia), and horribly expensive. If you got him for 8m and moderate wages, then he's a fine purchase, but what's the point at that price when you have Nani and Valencia?

Bebe + Young + Chicharito = £30.14m = ~€38m

Samir Nasri = €25m
Arturo Vidal = €10.5m
Nuri Sahin = €10m
Mesut Ozil = €15m
Rafael van der Vaart €9m
Milos Krasic = €15m

Put that a la carte together however you want. My favorite is Krasic, Ozil, and Vidal for 40.5. The cruelest would be Nasri, Vidal, and Kagawa (from Japan). Hell, Nasri + Ozil would give you a top class playmaker and winger, and the transfer fees would have effectively been the same as Bebe+Young+Chicharito.

Oh and tits.
Why don't Utd look at the likes of Granit Xhaka(Basel) or Strootman(PSV)? They woudn't cost 40m. There are plenty of players who can improve Utd midfield without costing a fortune.

@Shifty-Krasic? They have Nani,Valencia and Young. What the hell would they do with Krasic? He is too predictable and doesn't have the physical level to maintain the whatever good effect of his predictable moves. He doesn't give any sort of defensive protection either. Arshavin m#2 and Arshavin had more in him.

You were doing so well poet, please read before posting.

For the record, Xhaka is going to Gladbach.

For how much? to replace that Neusrsadgjsklghh guy?

Edit: Its pretty weird that United need a central midfielder and get knocked out of CL against Basel and not even try to get this talented kid who impressed.

Oh and tits.
No, not Reus. That guy who plays holding midfeild going to Schalke. I don't know how good that guy is as I didn't pay much attention to him but Xhaka would be a steal though. Would like to see how they replace Reus.

*sorry for going off topic.

Vidal and van der Vaart for roughly the price of Young. Holy ****. (H)
