United have not even tabled a bid yet
have held talks with him but Spurs saying they have not given permission to him....lots of people on sky news saying huntelaar has been seen in manchester airport??
would love to see that cheaper and younger and will be as good in my opinion

But Ajax said he's not gonna leave Amsterdam now because Ajax will not have time to get someone to replace him. I dunno what to believe. Thats getting crazy!

33 mln has been agreed with the Spurs and Berbatov is apparently having a medical according to SSN, just a matter of time (if it turns out to be true)

Berbatov has declined Manchester City's offer and is having medical at Old Trafford at the moment according to some websites.. Wonder if its true or not. Some sources claim that we have made an improved bid for him.

MUTV have not confirmed anything - Most of the "unbiased" sites claim City are only club to be granted talks (apparently their bid destroyed any permission United had)

Simon Stone of the press association still thinks the move will happen.

Personally I can't believe the ineptitude shown by United in allowing this situation to become so desperate - we've had all f*cking summer to buy a striker yet we've held on an pinned all our hopes on Berbatov - who may or may not prove to be worth it in the end.

Why would he not be worth it? I can't understand why people are doubting him as a signing. He scores a goal every second game and apart from Ronaldo, we don't have such a player. How can this possibly be not worth it?

I'm looking at it from the perspective of how he has conducted himself. He has shown that he is not adversed to sulking to get his own way, and maybe such a player being in the United dressing room would do more harm than good - I'm not doubting his talent, but after all we've said about Cristiano, isn't it just a wee bit hypocritical? I'd prefer knowing that although he's done all this to move to United - he won't do the same thing to us when he fancies a bit of sun in a couple of years.

How can you really 100% have confidence in a guy who behaves towards his team in this way?


Also I really sincerely hope we've done this right - I don't want to sink to other clubs' levels, especially when we've publicly castigated the likes of Real for doing this exact same thing - I admit I do however get a certain chuckle from seeing Chelsea play dirty tricks to them.

I think you're just speculating...I said it before a couple of pages back too...We don't know anything about Berbatov first hand. We don't know if the transfer request is actually true as no valuable source (him, his agent, the club, etc) has said he requested it. I just think a lot of it might be bs but that's just me.

We might know soon. Setanta Sports is saying that United are sending Fraizer Campbell to Spurs in part exchange for Berbatov.

More when I get it. By the way I'm excited because as I said the boy is class - but I will need to see how he is in regards to personality.

Both teamtalk and skysports are claiming that its a picture of Berbatov leaving Manchester hospital after a medical. Btw city have bidded for Robinho as well. What a crazy night.

but then again in the article they only talk about him being seen a O.T. passing a medical.

Nevertheless i'm pretty sure he has signed for you guys.
