He actually had 2 meetings and 2 medicals today. The first was with United, and the second was with City. Spurs will decide which club they wish to sell him to. The choices for Berbatov as far as Spurs is concerned, is either City or to remain at Spurs. That is unless United match the offer from City. If they do not, then he will go to Manchester City or remain at Spurs, whether he likes it or not.

This from a friend of mine who is a coach at Spurs. He does usually get things spot on.

According to Setanta, United have agreed to sell Fraizer Campbell to Spurs in order to make up the difference.

Both teamtalk and skysports are claiming that its a picture of Berbatov leaving Manchester hospital after a medical. Btw city have bidded for Robinho as well. What a crazy night.

Nope. It's the Spanish tabloids "claiming" that City have made a bid for Robinho. That is not the same thing as City actually making a bid. Also Sparky has said tonight that the report is rubbish.

Mikey, the media will report anything they want, whether its BS or not. I thought we were all well aware of that by now. They will report anything that grabs the headlines mate. Setanta know as little as everyone else about what is really happening.

I think you've quoted the wrong post. In much the same way that should the deal happen, Robinho chose the wrong side of Manchester (Stockport, actually) :D

The Real Madrid fans reckon it's done though. Why am I talking about this in here?

C'mon Berba, sign the bloody contract!

True Payaah. I forgot England's an hour behind us!

God, I'm tense! I wish this had been as easy as last summer. BOOM! Oh we've signed Nani, BOOM! Now we've got Anderson, BOOM! and Hargreaves! And to round it off, Carlos Tevez in the last week of the window!

Setanta says United have pulled Anderson out of Brazil's next two games with an "unidentified injury"

O yeah! Cream pants time... to quote myself

Berbatov
Rooney-Tevez-Ronaldo
Carrick/Anderson - Scholes/Owen

with cover for winger/strikers with giggs, nani, Campbell, saha manucho (if we every get a permit) Enough to worry any team. Then dont forget probably one the best defensive lineup's in the world.

probably wont happen like that, but nice it theory :D All the movement Rooney, tevez and ronaldo would give any team headaches.

man city must have offered some huge ages for robhino to go there. He was only saying not to long ago how Chelsea was the only club for him. They must of done serious brain washing about all the money there bringing to the club.

I was reading how those city owners have something like 500 billion making Chelsea look like small fries in the wealth department. I guess they will only get stronger from here on in... bring on the derby!

Still NOT done ... yet. Hull have bid £7M for Campbell, but they are thinking he's going to Spurs. The plot thickens.

13 mins to go.

The deadline has passed, the window is closed. Just awaiting confirmation that the actual deal was done .. no word yet.

Apparently Robinho was in tears because he really wanted to go to Chelsea, but City offered him £6M deal.

I'm happy because it makes Peter Kenyon look like the big tw@t he is! :D I wonder if he'll become the C.E.O of City next - seems to follow the richest team around.

Me too - I'm getting really sick of seeing those bloody City fans dancing about on Sky, it's like waiting to open a box that either contains gold or explosives.

I just have a bad feeling we didn't get it done.
