This transferwindow has been crazy, the longest saga's all conjested into one window. Just a few days left and we can fully concentrate on football. This is going to be a great season I reckon.....

EDIT: Saha is about to sign for Everton for an undisclosed fee. I guess SAF has made some progress on the striker front. Sad to see him go, he was one of my favorite players. He was made for our style of play. It is a pity that he couldn't get rid of his injuries.

maybe that verbal agreement is true then? or they have someone else? Gutted about saha though, good luck too him. sods law would suggest he will be injury free and net 25+ goals this season. pity he never joined Sunderland.

yeah, or is what i'm worrried about. We have been trying to sell Saha all summer, so i'm not so sure that he sale depends on us getting a new striker that much. And it looks more likely that instead of buying a new striker that we so badly need, we are selling practically the only one we have.

So you think Ronaldo is ungrateful, yet you desperately want Berba...

what? was that towards me? I want berba...ronaldo's not in the equation for me when it comes to his transfer

His point is that ManU fans trashed Ronaldo for his desire to leave and Real Madrid for their insistance on buying him, yet ManU and Berbatov have been playing the same game.

You guys seriously need to shape up, something is lacking in your attack, and I blieve that something is Ronaldo, and considering all your worldclass players, such dependency is unacceptable. Nice match against Zenit from Vidic and Tevez, Nani and Rooney were quite disappointing, Park seemed to add that missing dimension to your game when he came on, but overall a disappointing performance. It seemed like the only reason you stood a chance was because Zenit tired themselves out.

And what the hell, have any of your offensive players scored a goal yet?

P.S

When does Ronaldo return?

Man Utd is lacking that finishing touch....Something Berbatov will add. FFS you guys can't keep depending on Fletcher to score. Nani was horrible....for some reason he reminds me Michael Carlos*son from the 80's.

Aren't Rooney and Tevez strikers? Aren't they strikers you bought in the past 3 years? Aren't they worldclass, internationally capped strikers, for whom you've paid millions for?

Sure, you need a striker, but that's not an excuse. There are 7/8 other players on the field who can score goals, scoring 3 in 4 matches, when you're supposedly the best in the world, is just... unacceptable, as I've said.

Let's see if Berba improves your fortunes, should he come that is.

I just wanted to say that Tevez is out of this world. I've never seen a star work so hard for every ball. This is nothing new, but man I absolutely love that player.

Absolutely no question that Utd. are way different team w/o Ronaldo. all this "Ronaldo isn't key, we can dominate w/o him" is absolute rubbish. You are 70% w/o him, imo. Utd. may be bigger and more important than Ronaldo but not better. He will make all the difference in the world especially in CL play.

Yeah but with time they slowly started moving away from forward positions more and more. Rooney more than Tevez since he has been here longer, now Rooney is more like a playmaker/attacking midfielder and Tevez is slowly moving away from forward position as well.

However, don't forget last season as well. We started off with what, 1 or 2 goals in 4 matches, then like four 1-0 wins and then hit it off running? These guys need to get their hunger back and a new face, i have been saying the whole summer that we need a new player at least for a change in desire, otherwise i don't see United finishing ahead of Chelsea after 38 EPL games.

Aye, I'm sure you'll pick up, I just don't like seeing a team I've respected for years struggle to find its feet because of a player missing, a player who wasn't even there 4 years ago.

Ronaldo is definietly a factor, but i don't think its as big as some people make it out to be. Against Newcastle we had like 6 starters missing and got 2 other ones injuried during the game, so it was never gonna be a blowout. As for Pompey, they are our bogey team, we never wrapped in since they got back to the top flight and 1-0 win was actually a very good result, considering the players we were missing again (Giggs, Carrick, Hargreaves, Ronaldo) and the fact that 1-1 draw, 1-0 loss have become quite common for us against Porstmouth. And nobody really cares about Super Cup that much anyway.

PS. Damn, the Brits should have recruited Scholesy for the volleyball olympics. That was one hell of a spike, big speed, top corner, overhead, past the diving keeper and not even looking at the ball. Crazy!
