Papers are trying to claim we're going to sell Silvestre to Arsenal - WTF? Why would we sell anyone to our rivals.

Looks like the Berbatov deal is edging ever closer, although Fergie has said he's happy with the squad as is.

Probably more playing time. Silvest is nearing the dawn of his career, and he can be a starter in any upper-mid table teams, probably he just want to enjoy as much playing time as possible. Beside I do think he is one of those under the radar players who probably has won everything right ?

Personally, i'd keep Silvestre as further from our line-up as possible. He is an OK temporary cover though, which we might lack in once he leaves. I'd rather have a spot for Da Silva in there, then for Silvestre.

Either Da Silva or Danny Simpson could more than adequately cover that role. I would be surprised if we'd sell to Arsenal though. He's been a good servant to us for many years so he's pretty much done everything - can't blame him if he wants regular football. I wonder if Bordeaux will show interest again?

To me it seems like United is back to their old ways in transfer dealings. Trying to buy somebody the whole summer, taking too long and can't get the deal done. Everyday a new striker seems less and less likely.

I wish him luck even though he will be joining our rivals for the title. He has a great left foot but Paddy's much better than him at the moment though. And means that Evans definitely 3rd choice central defender and Fabio 2nd choice left back. Still, can't forget when he twatted Ljungberg at Highbury.
