Well, life is what it is now for us. We have to do whatever we can as a group to eliminate this debt... even if we dont like it. Lots of stuff in life we dont like but we have to do. What's important is that the team live on in our hearts, no matter what name changes. Let's support it and just push on... it seems the people who hate this deal turn a blind eye to anything glazer says thats good. It's not like he's shutting down the transfer budget for us... alot of teams wouldn't mind a 20-25 mill a year budget. If we keep making bad signings then it really wont matter how much money we get.

SELL
Silvestre-isn't of united quality.we can get around 5m from him.
Fortune:As good a utility player,he can't be that good for united.
Bellion:Just a reserve.
Kleberson-Give him a 100 chances,he'll never fit into the epl.
Carroll-Simply sucks
Saha-Sorry lad,but the amount of times he's been in the medical,he is almost qualified to be a doctor.7-8m would be good value.

BUY
Rafael Van Der Vaart-not because i always talk about him,but even though he has had an avergae season or let's say a poor season, he has the talent and drive. He can work both upfront,in the hole or on the wings.Plus since his drop of form he can be obtained on a cheap of around 7-8m maybe
Van Bommel or Essien-both are quality midfield holders.anyone will do.bommel is certain to leave psv so before his talks with barca go on we oughtta snatch him up.Essien has said he would love to come to old trafford .we can get him for 14-15m

My opinion on those:

OUT:
Silvestre - no way, he is definately united quality and compliments Rio perfectly, that is why they have become so good between the two of them. Although personally i prefer him as a LB, him and Rio and Silvestre are building a partnership in the middle similar to that of Rio and Sol Campbell in the World Cup.

Fortune - i have to agree, he's a good utility player but that's Phil Neville's job, a club like Middlesbrough would be ideal for him i reckon.

Bellion - i'm undecided with him, he definately has the potential though. I would suggest loaning him out for a season and see how much he copes and progresses with regular first team football.

Kleberson - he's been unlucky since joining united with some unfortunate events but i, personally, would LOVE to see this guy succeed at Manchester United. His first touch football, passing and vision are absolutely amazing and he could bring that South American touch to United which can only be good! i'd definately want to keep this guy and get him playing more matches.

Carroll - he most certainly does not suck, he is an extremely competent keeper. But having said that, i don't really think he's united quality (although he would be a great backup) but it looks as if he's leaving on a free at the end of the season anyways.

Saha - this guy is very talented, but i don't really think he fits in with United, he is a player that thrives on being the star player of a team (like what he was at Fulham) and at United he most definately is not. I doubt we'd get more than £4-6mill for him though.

IN
Van der vaart - i think it's too late for this guy, looks as if he's already on his way somewhere else.

Van Bommel - going to Barcelona already.

Essien - sounds like a good prospect, but i don't think we'll have £14-15mill to spend on a player that's not really established in a top class league (the french league is good, but not the same class as the EPL, la liga and serie A).

WHO I WOULD BUY
(maybe) Owen Hargreaves - i've always liked this guy and he is definately a player with potential to become extremely good. He is very versatile in where he plays but he is also an extremely good holding midfield player. I can't see many people agreeing with me on him being a good signing, but i would welcome his signing.

Johnny Heiting - he's a class talent for Ajax and could potentially be good for United. no clue on what he'd cost though.

Kameni - very good keeper prospect. Schmiechel like build. 3-4mill release fee.

Luis Figo - on a free. He would be absolutely fantastic to have at the club to pass on knowledge to youngsters. And also attract more money to the club for new players next year :p

Richardson has definately got to be in United's first team next year, he's been class for West Brom.

Spector should go on loan to Blackburn - like he was going to this season.

According to Daily Star John O'Shea could be on his way to Liverpool in £2.5 Million deal

Daily Star = just as bad as The Sun

United would not do this deal for 3 reasons:

- O'Shea is a good versatile first team player and is still young.
- It's Liverpool.
- Patheticly low price for such a talent.

add Riise and maybe :p

I think Solskjaer has one more season, at the most 2, in him. It will be hard to crack the starting lineup next term though...he' ll have to emerge into some kinda supersub fella.

Senior Squad
Well...the season ends with another disappointment

Our season has been marked by one word - FRUSTRATION. I mean, all season,we have been unlucky, frustrated or injured players. The FA final was the perfect example of how our season has been. We kicked the nuts around in possibly our best match performance of the season and yet we lost.

But we shud look forward now. I would say keep Kleberson and Saha. Get rid of Caroll,Bellion. That would give something like 5m.

Spend the whole transfer money on one good keeper, Casillas,Valdes. Cant wait for the next season.

unlucky and frustration are use to describe the match we completely rules the opponent but still cannot come out a good result. defeat to norwich, draw to wes brom. those 2 terms are no longer able to describe the situation we have.

i rather say our performance are inconsistent than unlucky and frustration. we may beat arsenal 2-0 and 4-2, beat charlton 4-0 and even outclass liverpool. but in the next day we lose to everton, norwich, draw to wes brom or play some division 1 football to the weaker teams.

personally i feel there were a tactical error in the half way through the season. change the tactic to suit unfit nistelrooy cost us a lot. or play 4-5-1 just to suit keane are terrible as well. we should use the tactic that most fit our team but not certain player. rotation system is another reason that we failed. we keep rotate our players way too often. playing players out of their favorite position is poor decision. in addition, our tactic is old, not effective and easily read by opponent. just shut down 2 wingers, put a defensive midfielder to lock down rooney, our tactic will be a failure. nowadays we hardly see a good team build up goal. we rely on our winger way too much rather than playing quick short passing, 1-2 pass, through ball tactic.

plus we have some useless players in the squad. saha just an injury prone. kleberson may have the potential, but he just can't show his quality. miller is another wrong transfer. carroll is sh.t ass who think he is so great. p.neville and o'shea are the players who contribute all they can to the team but the next day they not even on the bench. bellion do have a great season in reserve team, i think he should go on loan to get more first team experience. smith just another backup player in fergie plan. he rather play unfit nistelrooy than smith is the best example to tell the story.

if we didn't do anything in the summer transfer window, get some suitable players to fit the team (no more the players like djemba-djemba or miller). use the tactic to suit our team most but not specific player. stop oftenly use rotating system, if lampard or arsenal players can play almost every single game for their club, why not our players?

If true about his 125k demands, Rio can piss off. :nape:

Barca want £30m Rio
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has made a move for Rio Ferdinand – and Manchester United are tempted to sell for £30million. The newly-crowned Spanish champions have been encouraged by the England defender’s contract dispute at Old Trafford and the United plc board’s refusal to meet Ferdinand’s massive wage demands. Ferdinand – who has two years left on his current deal – and his agent Pini Zahavi are demanding £125,000 a week , which would make him the highest-paid defender in the world. The plc board have made it clear that there is no way they will give him that sort of money, which would put him on a much higher level than every other player in the United squad. They would have to consult American tycoon Malcolm Glazer following his takeover before proceeding with any big transfer deals. The board is strongly recommending that they sell if the price is right because they do not want Ferdinand to run his contract down any further. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson made it clear he wanted a decision from Ferdinand on his future before Saturday’s FA Cup final, but that never came. Now Barcelona have made an approach directly to United to try to take advantage of the uncertainty at Old Trafford.

Starting XI
It's been a poor season for us,but i think we will kick arse next season!
this season has given the opertunity to see some young lad's grow to be quality players, and some players are ready to leave!

here are my list of player's,good and bad!

Good

C.Ronaldo ----- showed us some quality stuff this season and got some goals
Darren Fletcher ----- getting better every year, belive he will be a regular starter
Wayne rooney ------ Controling his temper will make him superb

Bad

Roy Carroll ------ Some slipups we want forget!
David Bellion ------ Turned out to be a joke (my upinion)
Silvestre --------- some ****ty games this season
Fortune -------- did some good games, but i think it's time to to leave!
Kleberson -------- hardly remember him!!!!

as for the other player's i think they did good!
I would have voted Heinze for player of the year in Manu!

Btw:next season we will have Solskjaer back!
if he get back to his old form,i think we will see him grabb some late winners!

(H)

Solskjaer is training with the ball now,so i think he will go play some pre-season matches!

Question is, for the 30m we my receive for Ferdinand, who can we buy to replace him? Its not as easy as FM, "oh just grab Bonera he's cheap" solution. We need to find a defender of Ferdinand's qualities. Those are hard to come by.

ZamundaMan

I know, but are those proven and tested premiership performers?

I know Ferdinand has been given his fare share of runarounds (Crespo, Ronaldo 2 years ago etc) but he is quality. Replacing him won't be eazy, but again 125k, hahahahahahahahaaa, yeah right, get the fvck outta here. I'm sure he will accept something in the region of 80k-100k.
