Man Utd may be struggling but why should you give up hope of taking the title? It could happen, just have to keep faith. From your statement you've basically said that there's no way to come back when in reality you very well could climb back in it. Even though you don't think it will happen, you should always leave hope.

Manufan, you're most probably right about the title having slipped away this season, but I can't help still having hope for the team. I haven't given up hope, but I'm hardly in the 'WE'LL WIN THE PREM JUST LIKE EVERY YEAR EH?' camp either.
