Latin countries - countries where the language spoken is originated in the latin.

examples:
Portugal, Italy, France, Spain and Romania in Europe...

so Portugal is the only latin team in the tournament.

Man, it's 4 hours after the final whistle and I still can't believe it!!!!

I'm sorry for my overdose of excitement, but it's something that doesn't happen every day for us Greeks...

Don't forget that in our 2 (yeap,it's only our 3rd major tournament!) previous participations in major tournaments (Euro'80 and WC'94), we had 5 losses and only 1 draw (of course, we never qualified to the next round...).

Also, bear in mind, that until now, no one cared about the National team... Neither the fans, not even the players themselves... They just went to the games of the NT, because they were obliged to... They all cared only about their clubs and that ws all...

But now, everything has changed and we're all proud of our team!!!!

Oh,and some of you asked about what's happening back here in Greece... Well, unfortunately, I don't have many pictures, but here are some that I just found from some greek sites:

These photos are from Athens, but the same thing happens to every major city in Greece and even in many countries where Greeks live (USA, Australia, Germany, even France!!!)

No one in Greece will sleep tonight!!!!!!!
