France was severely lacking Vieira... IMO he was the best and most consistent French player in this tournament.. he was the one pushing the ball up front, doing all the mid-field work, and keeping this strangely bloodless team together...

And what about Trezeguet? Has he had one freaking scene in this whole tournament except that goal against Croatia?

I had the feeling the entire team played against their coach tonight...

well, too late now... Again: adieu, au revoir... overrated bunch...

That was sarcastic. But you guys don't appreciate soccer for the tatics and strategies teams use. You'd learn a thing or two from just watching a team play, the technics they use, running into space, setting up freekicks... Professional soccer is supposed to be entertainment, but playing smart to win is true soccer. To watch soccer for the fancy moves, or to see one player take on a whole team, the goals... well then you watch soccer for the entertainment. In Greece's case, you'd learn how to properly play defensively. Greece forced France to pass the ball back very often, because they had no other options. There were always more Greek shirts around the play then French shirts(when in Greece's half). Greece won because of this and catching France on the counter-attack. This is my opinion, and who ever likes it for the entertainment all I have to say is fine. But don't say they play like crap just because they play smart.

Wow and everyone lauged at us when we lost to Greece. They are a quality side even though they lost to Russia too in that last group game. Also nice caption up there Garlei very funny.:rockman:

Why would you want Trez to go in the first place? :confused:

King Henry ruined it for France. Just like Raul and Totti did for their teams. Henry, like Raul.. Cant head the ball! If Euro2004 used balloons as balls, Henry would still have difficulty heading it.
