It's all good except Deco. He absolutely must not start.

It would be a sin not to give Iniesta a permanent place in the team. That player will be, if he isn't already, one of the top 3 midfielders in the world. If I were the coach, a first team place would be guaranteed for Andres.

Also, Xavi has been the best in our preseason. I think this season there won't be any doubts about the midfield. Xavi - Yaya - Iniesta whenever possible, by far the best combination.

Racing shouldn't be a problem tomorrow. They're having some difficulties inside the club, the coach is unhappy with the squad at his disposal, and they lost Žigić.

Despite this being the always tricky season opener, I think we'll win without too much effort. I just don't see what Racing have to throw at us.

well iam not worried about the tie , 2 years ago we had one of greatest seasons and we started with a tie agaisnt alaves , last season we started great and messed up all in the last matches, my point is it doesnt matter how we start its how we finish...... but what iam worried about is our guys looked today like if they were still in the preseason, dinho and etoo both had a horrible game, and rijkaard didnt help much with his subs , not meaning who he put in , but more who he took out....

I kinda agree with the season start. (altough im laughing my a$$ off atm) Its how you end a season (like we did last term). But about the subs. Taking off Toure and Messi wasnt that bad. I mean he wanted a win. Messi had a really HORRIBLE game. So he was taken off. And btw, the preseason Barca had was just f*cked up easy. They thought lets go to the field and kick some Racing a$$, but what they forgot is that Racing isnt some Chinese team. Ok, they are worse now that Zigic left, but they defended and did it very well. Barca lacked some creativity. Well, atm Real Madrid is the one that looks impressive and the Fantastic Four of Barca looked lost

The truth is, we should have won this. It isn't a big deal, it's only the first game, but Rijkaard worries me.

We just can't play with Eto'o ON THE RIGHT, where he can't do anything, Messi SUBBED OFF when he's better than both Ronaldinho and Eto'o, and we can't have Ronaldinho play the whole game when he clearly wants to be somewhere else.

That's the way to go. Ronaldinho can spend the rest of the season on the bench for all I care. Just when I thought that maybe he would activate himself again, he proves me wrong.

Someone should tell Rijkaard who should go into what position.

The two lost points mean nothing. What does mean something is the fact that we repeat last season's mistakes. We need to be more active, and the players who are trying should play. Not to mention that they should be played in their respective positions, not out of position.

I think the most important thing is to have a great first half of the season and create a gap. After that, everything is easier as you have to defend a lead, and you're allowed to make some mistakes.

We won't look lost after Rijkaard places the players in the right positions, and hopefully benches Ronaldinho. That player should have been burning with desire today. He has a major point to prove and this is how he does it? Ridiculous.

When the best players start in their positions, and Puyol - Milito play together, it will be the real Barca.

Most are obnoxious. A very few come to Real madrid board and bring interesting points, opinions, etc. which is always welcome as far as I'm concerned. Some others love to criticize for the sake of hating, etc. I come here to give back what's dished out and to be a pain most of the times. Nice start by Barca, I'm happy they couldn't score being a man up for 1/2 hour but they will be back. Too much talent not to be in the hunt.

Hmm I did not see the whole match but judging by the highlights I saw Racing had the better game and should have won but again I only saw the highlights so I won't say much.

Also interesting top 3 there, I think against Racing Eto'o actually did the worst ( statwise that is ) and I think Henry is better playing in Eto'o's position but it seems weird that FR took out Messi first ( IMO your most dangerous player ). Dinho still seems kind of out of it as you said so it might not be such a bad thing to leave him on the bench, make him work to get back in the XI. Anyway it's only the first game ( my post might be different it it was geared at bybuti or arnau who were all over the Madrid thread after the Sevilla match ) and that tackle Abidal took was horrible, it's a good thing he was not injured.

And who the f*ck are you to say that, I think you're one of the most obnoxious people on the forums, and I'm probably not alone with that opinion, and it's not 'cause you're a RM-fan, but because sometimes your writings are pure **** and have no base for them.
