Yea, you can tell nothing by looking at the preseason. Everything can happen, like taking the title in the five last matches... Barca just has to make sure it doesn't happen again. I'm so excited of the new season starting, I can't wait to see if Giovani is gonna get some time on the field and if he will, will he continue his unbelievable preformances.

Our most dangerous contenders are ourselves. If we can keep the team free of infighting and scandals, and if we can keep the players confident, we'll be fine. Motivation definitely won't be a problem as everyone feels the obligation to redeem themselves after what happened last season.

I'm counting on the adjustment period at Madrid. They will definitely struggle for the first few months until they find their best line-up and strategy. Even Capello's Madrid was having a lot of problems at the start so we should really capitalise on that. We need to start strong and create a gap to compensate for potential slip ups.

We just need our team to be happy and relaxed and we'll win titles.

it seems barca are looking to buy Alex , the new brazilian wonderkid from vasco da gama, i dont know much about the kid but today he had a great game in the sub17 WC against new zealeand, 2 great passes and and 1 great goal, hes been compared a lot with robinho, to be honest i dont see the point on getting him having giovanni and bojan, lets see if we get him or not, in the meantime heres the highlitghts form the game i was mentioning, keep an eye on alex.

yeah can be a problem, but like things are going i dont think that problem will appear :P, its a problem to control such stars that we have, but we arent madrid so i think we will not have problems

if we are together we will have big success and im sure we will win LA LIGA and Champions League, im porud with Rijkaard and i know he can "control" the stars he is genius

You can never be sure, especially in Champion's League, in the knockout round anything can happen, but I think we have a good chance.

About Rijkaard, I think he's a good manager and so on, but I wouldn't go as far as calling him a genius.

haahahah, no my madridista friend im so calm, im just speaking reality, last year we didnt have team in best condition we missed eto'o 5 months, messi 3 months, but we cant say that we didnt have better team than in 05/06 when we won la liga and CL and we had so many matches in row without losing, what happend last year its something that we have to learn from that

btw, im so optimist for new season, and i just cant wait for that to start with these transfers (Henry, Abidal, Toure, Milito) i think we are now "More than completed" and i dont see there any position that we dont have great players now my only grief is where to put all these stars together in field lol but for that i have totally faith in Rijkaard

Well then I have to bring you back on earth mate. We in Madrid have 2 teams that are capable of finishing in the Top 4. Dont be optimistic yet. It can go very wrong for both Real and Barca. We also have great players in every position. (even 2 on every position). And btw, everyone is talking about Eto'o 's and Messi's injury, but when we had half the team injured in the 05/06 season no one talked about it because they were too busy talking sh*t about us. Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo, Becks, Carlos etc. we are injured for some time. So please dont tell me that the Eto'o and Messi injury cost you La Liga. We s*cked in the first half of the season and almost gave everything away there. Be realistic and just admit that its gonna be a very close race.

I agree with some of this, I don't think we lost La Liga because of Eto'o's and Messi's injuries. Of course they had a big affect on it, but they weren't the main reason, the main reason was that we screwed it up in the last weeks.

It's not about last season. If you talk about last season, you should be ready to talk about seasons couple years before too. That's just a ridiculous argument to say that I was just talking about last season, the impact is pretty much the same on every season if people are injured, so you really shouldn't say we lost La Liga last season because of those injuries, but RM lost La Liga two years ago because the sucked too much....

And this comes from a true Barca fan. You should think a little more, I have nothing personal against you, but sometimes you seem too energic, and seem to feel like Barca can't make any mistakes, and when they don't win it's bad luck or something else and when some1 else loses, it's because Barca was too good, and they were so horrible...

of course mate, but lets see , what if and i mean what if you guys have had van the man and ramos injured for most of the last season, do you really think you guys could have won la liga then, ask yourself that question, and their lies your answer, its no coincidence the season that we lost 2 of our key players was the season that we struggle the most.
you not beeing a barca fan wouldnt know how incredibly important are etoo, dinho and messi to barca's system , for barca to work right that is , and now that i mention this i guess this was our biggest flaw, not having a bench that could carry the team the same way, this season is diferent with henry, abidal, toure , milito to complement our base team; we just dont have anymore excuses that can keep us going all the way again.
but your right i would never understimate madrid , but then again you guys dont scare me either... iam pretty confident that we have the enough team to take you to school.
