Dream Team

Starting XI
Great Job, Vedran (Y)

We could start with the list of player who are coming/leaving.

In:
Bojan Krkic (Barça B)
Giovanni Dos Santos (Barça B)
Thierry Henry (€24m +1m if barça win la Liga)
Yaya Touré (€9m +0.5m in the next four years everytime Barça qualify for the CL or win la Liga)

Out:
Saviola (free)
Ezquerro (free)
Gio (free)

Belletti and Giuly might leave as well. Sylvinho is more doubful now that Gio left. Motta is transfer listed and I don't know about Gudjohnsen.

I think Márquez and Deco could leave, but only if there's a good offer.

Thanks.

I've put everything I wanted to put on the first post. If someone has ideas what to add, let me know.

I also added the Ins and Outs.

Is there something missing?

Starting XI
Does anyone know Bojan and Giovanni's numbers?

Should I add Titi to the legends list now? I mean, it would be about time, he was presented yesterday, we've waited long enough. (H)

Dream Team

Starting XI
Even if he has a disastrous season, he's one of the best players of his generation. He's already a legend.

I have no idea about the numbers. If I could decide: Dos Santos 8(Giuly), Bojan 11(Zambrotta), Zambrotta 2(Belletti)

Do you really consider them club legends? Don't get me wrong, great players. But how much have they done for the club? I'd add Ronaldo and Kluivert, though. Then again, I'm not a Barca expert.

Larsson is a fantastic player and he did extremely well for us. He is a football legend and he did his job perfectly. He was the ideal substitute, because he was capable of turning the game around with his skill, and he never ever complained about being on the bench most of the time. I can't think of a better player to have on the bench. For all this, he gets legend status in my book and I believe the same goes for the rest of the Barcelonismo. I don't even think I have to mention the two assists in Paris against Arsenal, when he played a major role in our triumph.

Messi, I admit you can't call him a legend just yet, but I don't remember the last time a football player was loved so much at Camp Nou. Everyone at the club adores him, I couldn't not put him, since he's so special.

Eto'o, the Pichichi, is on a level of his own. Despite the bad blood off the pitch, there's no one in the world that tries harder than him, and he's done so mucj for us. If he's not a legend, who is?

Belletti, ok he sucks, but he scored the winner in Paris. Maybe he shouldn't be on that list just because of one goal, but what the hell. We won the f*cking Champions League because he got one shot right.

Henry is, like DT said, one of the best of his generation and he's a legend already. I think that warrants him the status of a Barca legend, because for example Maradona, while he was with us, didn't do anything significant, spent most of his time injured but is still considered a club legend simply because he's Diego Maradona, and he wore the red and blue shirt. It's only fair that another great footballer, Titi, gets the same treatment.

And I have no doubts that Messi, Eto'o and Henry will show why they belong on this list. I feel this will be a special season, and I hope we have to add some more names.

I think Ronaldo belongs on the list, too, but I don't want to put him there because I don't like him. That was so arbitrary and unfair (H)
Kluivert? I don't think he deserves a place on that list, not for his name, not for his performances in the Barca shirt.

---------

al thanks.

Gio is gone. He went to Feyenoord. Apparently he had a clause of some sort in his contract that allowed him to leave for free. He wants to finish his career at home. I guess he expected us to go for a better fullback eventually, and like some Barcelonistas already said on another forum, this is probably a clear sign of Barca looking for at least one more fullback (Abidal, if he can force his way out of France).

I don't know how popular those will be amongst Barcelonistas here. Unlike fans of some other teams, we don't really use them.

From my list of priorities(LB, DM, FW and CB) we've got three and they're working to get a CB. Besides Henry is between them.

This is being a great summer.

I really don't want Eto'o to leave, Rikjaard should jusy keep him and play with 3 strikers at once, that would be tight!
