yeah i also dont know whats the point in going for lampard having those players you mention, the priorty should be a CB, then maybe if a another midfielder has to come it should another DM, and get rid of edmilson but i dont think this is gonna happen either , rijkaard and laporta already stated they count with him for next season.

btw we have 3 new signings but have you guys notice theirs no concrete news whos going out, only rumours, except for gio who i think hes already gone to feyenoord, we have a lot of free players but no concrete offers were they are going.

There's no way Gudjohnsen is going to Man Utd now, might aswell cross that one off, especially with Tevez close to a deal. He seem's pretty intent on proving himself at Barca.

He had no chances to play in first squad, even in match squad, so it was obvious he will leave. But if he can get a bigger cash there but still sit on the bench, it's his choice.

I know that moving from Barca to Real and in other way is not "allowed", but many players would do the same on his place. I'm not defending Saviola, I would also get mad if De Rossi would leave Roma for Lazio for example ( I know it's a ridiculous example).

maybe so mates, but if its playing time he needed why go to madrid?, thats why i do agree with vedran he is a money grabbing asswipe, i mean saviola must be stupid to not know he is going to get as much playing time he did at barca, i mean its ruud, robinho, higuain, raul , then him, ohh and did i forget maybe soldado too. either that or its raul and higuain the ones that get benched big time which i dont see it happening, thats why its pretty ovbious saviola did it for the mula, zaragoza and villarreal were perfects teams for him to get the playing time he needed..... so dont get confuse or feel pitty for him on barca's account, cause it wasnt playing time he was looking in the first place.
its ironic how everybody including barca fans wondered if rijkaard had something personal against saviola, well now things come a little more clear , maybe rijkaard knew more about him than everybody else.

I thought everyone knew Saviola's intention's after he rejected restructering his contract back a couple season's ago. The players during the Gaspart era had huge contracts which were sucking the club dry and while most of the players did work with the club and made a more reasonable contract Saviola refused to do so and keep earning his big contract, from than on it all went downhill ( and rightly so ).

With that being said, we just got a very good player for free ( reports are saying 2 million euros net for Saviola is what he will sign for ). I think he will see a good amount of time for us, Ruud won't go all season withtout getting an injury like he somehow did this last season with us ( infact he might still be injured at the start of the season ) and Higuain still needs time to perfect his finishing and decision making while Saviola already has that.

Even if his intention was money, he still deserves a big club. The guy knows what he can do with a ball. And most of us here also know. So Real Madrid is a good club for him. He is good enough for Barca and every other top team. But really you cant deny it. Rijkaard f*cked his career up a bit. The guy was a sensation at Barca! He was worth all his money. He was as big as Messi when they had the same age. (although I have to admit that Messi's dribbling is out of this world) He scored 11 goals in his U-20 WC. He scored alot for Barca. So it would be the same as if a new coach came and benched Messi for no reason.
