I think so. With Puyol Barça can handle his speed better though. I think the player to watch will be Diego Milito. If you look at what he did to Real Madrid.. wow.

Madrid don't have Puyol. We didn't have him in Romareda when we played the cup.

I'm confident of a win. I have respect for Zaragoza, especially after they eliminated both us and Madrid, but we just burned Chelsea. After a morale boost like that and with the right attitude (the team learned their lesson in the cup), we have to prevail.

0-2.

Diego is good, but i dont know. Madrid's defense is pretty much ridiculous for any striker (not doubting his qualities). Anyway, with Ronaldinho, Messi and Eto'o on form you probably can beat anyone just by outscoring them.

Dream Team

Starting XI
20 minutes to kick off, line-up:

PHP:
------------V.Valdés--------------
Belletti--Puyol--Oleguer--Sylvinho
------------Edmilson--------------
---------Motta----Deco------------
---Messi-------------Ronaldinho---
-------------Eto'o----------------

Rijkaard only changed the full backs.

Dream Team

Starting XI
0-0, probably the most boring 45 minutes of the season. 0 creativity in midfield, Barça need Iniesta instead of Motta and a better attitude for the second half.

Dream Team

Starting XI
0-2, Ronaldinho PK, Larsson.

Eto'o wanted to leave the game as he received more racist insults. I'm too pissed and embarrassed to comment the game.

I hope this threat from Eto'o encourages the FA to do SOMETHING EFFECTIVE. I wish Eto'o would have left the pitch, I wouldn't care if Barça lost the three points. This has to stop.

as much as i wanted Barça to drop points in this match.. I'm glad that they won just to piss off those racist f*cks up in the stands!! DT, your right. Eto'o should have left the field, cause that would REALLY have heated things up.

im so tired of this sh!t! what kind of eggheads is it that is up there? Eto'o pointed at Alváro's arm and mean't like. "look, we have the same color".
it's just disgraceful. :kader:

I dont know how Eto'o puts up with that crap.... :kader: (<-he's black)
It's interesting that Eto'o seems to get this more than most other players...
am I right, or just in the wrong place at the wrong time all the time...?

Racism occurs everywhere. Eto'o should have just cope with it. I think Eto'o is being treated badly is because Zaragoza fans think he is a bitter cunt. If Eto'o wanted to walk off, he should have done so in my opinion.

a win, and an important one ... but that fact will be overcast by the grossly negative events of the day ...

not in civilized societies ... he shouldn't have to put up with that sh!t ...

if that's the message they were trying to get across, then they completely failed! what has his personality and what he says in the papers got to do with his skin colour?!

After all the efforts made by the world of football to Stand Up, Speak Up, and Kick Racism Out, it is shocking to see that there still exists factions who are hell-bent on this wrong-doing ...

The Spanish FA may well, and should, come down hard and fine the club and ban Zaragoza fans attending from attending home games, but it is nothing new ...

I would have liked to see all the players, especially Zaragoza players, walk off the field and refuse to play while such chants emanate from the stands ...

Too right (Y) No one should have to put up with that. ******* idiots they are. Hopefully the FA do the right thing here.

sad to see what happend today with the racist chants against Eto. This seriously has to stop and the fans from Zaragosa should get a ban, we should treat everyone equal. THe federation needs to fix this fast, if this continue, I could see this ending in a league strike.

Anyone know what happent to ronaldhino? he left injured I hope its nothing serious

About the game, I saw Barcelona tired in the first half it was pretty borring. THe start of the 2cnd half was the same till the minute 30th, I think we should use our subs earlier. But anyway we got the well deserved win :)

Hi there. Well, a few words about Zaragoza - Barça, and a pearl from Mourinho again.

Firts of all, im really tired about that always this ******* racists are over Eto´o again and again. I understand perfectly his reaction, nevermind the 3 points, nobody deserves this ******* unjustice only for his color skin, and more when the people that, in theory are of the opposite team, have black players too in his team. I cannot imagine this continuos torture....for this ******* bastards, they should to imaginate the opposite world, that for to have a white skin, all black people saying you "white ass....whity....uncafeine.....white bunny.....uncolored.....etc, etc". Thing that didnt happend. WE ARE ALL THE SAME, the color is a simple effect of the sun into the melanine (thing that this bastards wont never understad). After the macth, rest of players were asked about what should happend if Eto´o goes. They answer that ALL OF THEM should be go too.

This is not a UEFA thing is a CLUBS thing, the clubs HAVE to stop this bastards racists at the stadium doors, as Barça did with boixos nois, all this ******* racist and fascist people dont deserves anything, and must to be erased of the this great game. No excuses about, Zaragoza coach saids "it happends everywhere, in Barcelona too". IS A ******* LIE . I live in a district of Barcelona where spanish, nigerians, indians, muslims and gypsis live together without any problem neiter racism, for me is usual to see people from diferents countries....for this reason, i cannot understand this behavior.

Besides of this, i want to talk about the last Mourinho declarations...textually from a SKY TV interview:

"There´s 2 months ago, you putted repeatly the Hammann injury images in a Essien fault and he, that only was yellow car, was santioned by UEFA with 2 matches". And now..why do you not pass 200 times the Messi and Del Horno play for to persuade UEFA for to repeat the macth? Could you do this favour??"

"Is it clear that the expulsion is exagerated. If UEFA tells me that Del Horno will plays in Barcelona, i don´t care. And If they say that Messi will be santioned with his theater, i will don´t care too. And if they say that the whole Barça team will be fined because they putted pression over the reff and his assitant on that play, i will dont care too. The only thing that i care is the result...and seems that it will be dont changed"

Ok man...Mr. Translator....i dont need so much words as you for to defend a thing that´s clear for everybody. This is a image from the yesterday match Zaragoza - Barça, and see the Messi´s knee, from the first kick of Del Horno, and tell me of what color in the card.......pffffffff......may be blue Jose????

Take care

Yeah, he really wouldn't care if Messi was banned for the return leg.

He'd ejaculate at the very thought.

Isn't it funny how the Special One, a great tactician like Mourinho, cannot use the best defence in football to stop an eighteen-year old? Well, not to stop him, but at least keep him from embarrassing them.

I pitty him. He has such a skilled team, a rich boss who could buy him a new team if he wanted to, and tactical knowledge envied by many. He has intelligence and everything in him necessary to succeed, and yet he manages not only to fail ocassionally, but also to be such a sore loser about it. One would think that a man as smart as Jose Mourinho would have the common sense and decency to compliment the better team, even if it wasn't his own. But nooo. He chooses to blame someone else rather than admitting it was his own doing. Underneath that fancy coat and behind the cold and unemotional face lies a weak soul afraid of a serious challenge. Because if Mourinho had been brave, he wouldn't have deteriorated the Bridge, he would have played with more cojones and he would have took the responsibility for losing at home for the first time. But I guess he considers his environment to be fragile and very unsupporting so he's afraid of what the people close to him might think or do if he were to drop his guard and show himself as someone who can lose a fair fight.
It's a shame that he's so empty and immature inside. He would be a great man and a great coach if he had a shred of honor.

Rollin', rollin', rollin', keep your players rollin'.

Nothing serious, he will play the next game. Maybe he won't play the midweek game with his NT. He felt pain in the ankle where some Chelsea player put his studs and he had some inflammation at the end of the game.

hahah wow, did not expect that AT ALL.

if anything, i expected zaragoza to hold us to a draw and valencia and madrid to come out w/ easy wins. but you can never tell i guess, and now we further boost our confidence/solidify our position at the top of the table.

i really hope you're right about ronaldhino's injury DT, because if we have to face chelsea w/o him, we are going to be in deep trouble.

Dream Team

Starting XI
It's on the official website, solaimaa (Catalan and Spanish versions). Ronaldinho is already with his NT. The Brazilian doctors will see his ankle to decide if he can play in Russia. Of course our doctors recommend that he doesn't play with Brazil, but it's not a serious injury so we'll have to wait to know if he'll play. I hope he doesn't play if they're not 100% sure that he can.
