im not the one whos saying this, this are the pure facts of the game..about Ferreira's mistake, yeah he made a mistake but the karagounis didnt have just the keeper to beat, he had Couto and Ricardo in front of him so...and Ferreira worst player? did u watch the match? who made the only accurate cross(not counting the last minute corner kick)? rui costa wasted the wonderful cross btw.....

Really, when people don't want to understand things. Go see the STATISTICS!!! Those are FACTS!!! You said Greece had 8 chances... That's not true. They had 8 shots, that's pretty different. I only pointed out that Portugal had 18 shots (official count by Uefa and obviously those weren't all dangerous chances)! And crosses don't count as shots, you know? Duh!

Only some chances of the many we had:

- Jorge Andrade shot from the outside the box, that went very close to the post

- Rui Costa's header, after a Paulo Ferreira cross

- Simão's play, when he chipped the ball over a Greek defender and got into the box, but Nikopolidis reached it first

- Deco's shot, when he ran into the box and it went a little bit over the bar

- Nuno Gomes shot, to the low right corner, that Nikopolidis got a hand to, giving a corner

- Nuno Gomes (I think) shot that was deflected by a Greek defender. Nikopolidis was beaten and the ball went very very close to the post.

- A cross to Nuno Gomes, to the far post, where he was unmarked. He managed to get his head there, but it went over the bar.

ANYONE that saw the match can see this. So, how could Greece won by 2-3, if these are 7 chances by Portugal, and Greece only had 8 shots, and not even half of them were dangerous? Don't be ridiculous and biased, really.

I'LL SAY IT AGAIN: this doesn't mean Greece didn't diserve to win. They did. They were the better team, more organized, clearly. Congratulations! (how many times have I already said this???) But it gets on my nerves when people aren't fair and start saying things that aren't true. You were very effective, scoring 2 goasl in 8 shots. We weren't, only scoring 1 in 18. We had more chances. You were better. Period. I'm not going to talk about this anymore. Some people here are losing my respect and behaving like idiots...

Not me. That's for f*cking sure. I was doubting Portugal to even qualify. Greece has to be the most unpredictable team of the whole competition.

They beat Portugal and lose to Russia. How are you meant to judge a team when they perform like this? It's quite incomprehensible.

I hope Portugal wins. And if history is anything to base the result on, they will.

Every 20 yrs the host wins. Will history repeat itself? I think so. It will be very tough though.
