lets make something clear, shots are not chances. greece had a lot more chances then portugal and if they had a great striker that would have been shown. in the first half alone 3 or 4 solid chances were presented to the greeks. and even though portugal controled the second half, they produced very few chances. so if greece had finished half their chances, portugal would have been lucky to escape with a 2-3 goal margine.

anyway Greece played Porto style, and i have to congratule them, great pressure, great first half, but an italian second half..

I agree 100% with shinji, in fact if it was Tiago and Petit in the centre mid it would be a huge ******* scandal. Scolari played the wrong players, those FCP players he blended in didn't gel with the team. Anyways congrats to Greece, very good team and I hope they finish first in the group, and us second (if that...). I don't fancy Portugal's chances...

Maniche-Slightly disagree, since he never passed, always made those dumb 20 yard shots, thinking he was Figo.

Ferreira-Wasn't the worst the whole game, he made that huge error, besides that he played average for the game.

And I disagree on starting Miguel, Ferreira may have made a big error, but it doesn't matter because Ferreira is still better than Miguel, and I can think of few people who'd want Miguel over Ferreira, even knowing fully well of that error.

EDIT-PS: Explain to me how Costinha was responsible for the first goal, I'm anxious to hear this.

He didn't play bad, but we need that special gk that can make that Karagounis save... and dont say Baia 'cause he wouldn'tve saved it either. Moreira is clearly, clearly, our best goalkeeper but he's still too young I believe.

Aveirenses, I respect your opinion, but I stand by mine. I've always said Miguel is a better player than Paulo Ferreira.

Possibly, but I think Simão is a big part of our NT, eventhough he didn't show it Saturday... also in that formation (in fact in any formation) I'd prefer Petit over Costinha.
