well, it's just around the corner now! I dunno about you guys, but I'm getting exited already

Can't wait for the opening match, as far as predictions go... I actually think Greece is a much better side than a lot of people give them credit for, and I think they'll give us some difficulties in the opening game. The longer it stays 0-0 the more it will favour the Greeks, as we might start to get frustrated..

Greece did beat Spain in Spain and Portugal will have the pressure of an entire nation breathing down their neck so I expect a hiccup here.

We haven't been too impressive in warm-up games, but from what I've been reading it seems that moral is high amongst the players and they all seem quite happy to be working with Scolari. Figo's in great form, Deco & Ronaldo seem confident , and Pauleta's been scorring with ease recently and has been impressive in training..

Scolari always said that when it counted, his team would be ready. We'll have to wait until saturday I guess..

You have to remember that for most friendlies, during a busy season, there is no time to train. They get a day or two to prepare. Now that we have been training for a few weeks, things are starting to look good.
