As for the penalty, Lamps could've have taken it better but its only his 2nd start for us since coming back injured while on duty England. So he isn't really up and running yet. Still poor penalty nonetheless.
City simply looked like they wanted to win it more than us. Similar story to Wigan and Villa away.

I think I may follow their lead, because if the players on obscene wages can't give a damn, then why the f*ck should I?

These are the players who do not become great players simply by putting on a United shirt. They are ordinary run of the mill players who might be better in a few years time, (at least the younger ones), but are not yet quality enough for regular first team football in the colours of Man U.
Thanks to the Glazers mate, this is the position that Fergie finds himself in. It's tough for the fans to take, and you have to ride the storm, but it won't be like this forever. Sooner or later there will hopefully for you, be money available, or some of those players previously mentioned might blossom. Until then you just have to roll with it mate.

And btw, most of the players you pointed out are those who are most likely to be seen in the league cup or when we are in injury crisis. At least we got these young potential talents. What do Chelsea have? Chelsea's young players are worse. Can you win the league cup with your young players? You can't even qualify with your first team...
Look at your own young players before judging the likes of Macheda, Gibson, De Laet, Welbeck, etc coz Chelsea's academy is nowhere even close to that.
Thanks to the Glazers? We won the league 3 times and Champions league 1 time during the time they have been here They didn't have a massive impact on our game thankfully.
