It'll be Belletti, he's played there before and I'd rather keep Iva at RB. Don't think he'll cut at it on the left, and I'd rather waste Belletti on the left than Iva. Last person I remember playing at LB is Hutchinson, and he clearly isn't gonna play. Mancienne played there a game or two, but he's at Wolves, and same applies.

Bella will do well-enough, I think. I'm not worried.

SkySportsNews were reporting that Malouda might start at LB ... it has been confirmed by uefa.com ... that's a gamble; and a gamble in defence has higher stakes ... handling a rampaging Maicon is a real challenge -- provided that Big Doug is on form ...

unlock, Drogba should have scored that free kick.

I hope you do well in a second half. Tonight Chelsea's England, make'em proud.

Ugh, at least we got an away goal.

And what a goal as well, nice shot although Julio should have been more prepared for it, he should've taken it. The next leg will be VERY interesting to see, I can't wait for it.

Meh, if you start counting the lucky and unlucky chances that occur, you'll drive yourself crazy.

Inter threatened so little I forgot Cech even got injured. Hope it's nothing serious.

What language is that? I'm sorry but I can't understand :(

I watched the whole game. I think Chelsea still has a good chance at the Bridge.

Nice effort by Chelsea tonight.
Even though I'm a Juventus supporter, I'm siding with Chelsea when Inter travel to Stamford

On the other hand, if Inter stay in the CL race, their performances in the Scudetto will decrease drastically...

The Swedish Chelsea fans are only complaining on the "penalty that should've been" and that they're gonna win the next leg with 3-0... The Swedes are such bad losers...

Frankly, I've seen enough from the game to suggest that we can score more goals and dominate play against them. But the keys are our full-backs, one the right-hand side, Ivanovic was threatening forward constantly, brilliant run for the assist in Kalou's goal.

But the left-hand side was somewhat isolated, and Malouda couldn't venture forward too much and Kalou played too much in the middle of the park.

You could see that Inter were defending narrow, and Lucio and Samuel aren't the fastest of centre-backs, we've should've gotten a penalty btw, but I'm quite used to seeing this happen to us tbh.

I'm confident Zhirkov, Deco, and Alex would be back to face them at the Bridge.
Hopefully Cech is as well.

We've been in a similar situation against Barca in 2004-2005, and Jose doesn't need reminding of what happened on the return home leg.

My suggested formation for the return leg.

Cech
Bane Riccy JT Zhirkov
Mikel
Ballack Lamps
Anelka Malouda
Drogba

Probably should take away Cech from your formation there, it's unclear if he'll be fit to play in time for the return leg.

Hilario has never let us down, and I think he's a bit better at gathering crosses than Cech. But Cech is still our best keeper and will be a big miss.

Hilario played well against Barca in the two ties and I'm sure he'll put out another solid performance.
