Crisis?
Chill.
Listen, this club is FC Chelsea. There is no crisis that will last longer than a season. We're loaded with cash and if we need to bring in new players, we will, if we need to bring in a new manager, we will, and we'll be Premiership chances next season or the season after that if we can't get the title this year. We're gonna win the Champions League soon enough too.
Jose Mourinho is a great coach and I hope he goes down as a Chelsea legend but him leaving isn't the end of anything. In fact, I'm optimistic, maybe we can move forward and bring in a manager who suits the attacking style that Abrahimovich desires like Hiidink. We'll be a more attacking and invinsible team probably in the near future. Mourinho is a great manager when it comes to scraping out results but that's for smaller clubs, he would be better off at a mid table club, but not at a big club. You can't expect to win consistently at a big club if you try to grind out results in every game. And I know that he tried to play a more fluid and attacking style this season but truth is, he isn't the sort of manager suited or skilled to attempt that style.
Avram Grant will be manager for a short term and then a bigger name will be brought in, and if a big name manager isn't brought in this year, then he will be in the summer.
I still see Chelsea in a better position than any other English club, they may not win the Prem this year (still too early to judge), but they're still better off than other teams.
As for Mourinho, hopefully he goes and coaches Bayern Munich (that's being a bit too optimistic), I just hope he doesn't end up with some Italian or Spanish club.
Point is, we've still been the best football club the last three years and we'll still be at the top for the next three (although you could always argue for clubs in different leagues like Barca or Milan).
