Micho with that header should gain some level of confidence for the future.
I am still quite unhappy with the team. The defence is still strugling and Kahn is damn unsecure.
Van Bommel is getting verball with everyone. Love that. Reminds me off Effe, we need someone to step up like that.

I know that it's not proper to talk about bets you've laid down after the results start to agree with your bet, but I laid 100 dollars on this game paying out pretty much even money ($113) on a split bet that would give me back half my money if Bayern tied, and all if they'd win by a goal or more..............SHEESH!

Damn, at least they showed some fighting spirit. Schweini played at AMC, swaped positions with van Bommel a few times. Can't say it worked out but Brazzo played better than Karimi and Roque did in the past weeks so we should stick to that as long as Deisler is out.

I don't think Bayern will get anybody in the January Transfer Window because Uli Hoeness made it clear that he is going to rule winter raids

He said the same two weeks before the last transfer window closed...and then we got van Bommel. If they find a player and think he can improve the team they will sign him.

I think though that he might be able to save himself on CL results even if we finish outside the top three.

The difference is we're not in the EPL. Bremen although they seem to struggle a bit lately are better than us okay. Schalke are always up there as well but after that? We have to finish in the top 3 and that shouldn't be a problem.

Now we have an entire week to quiet us, and try to search the comeback of Deisler, Hargreaves, maybe Lucio, and stop ourselves for some days, we got to be very quiet......

It's wonderfull to me to see FCB players doing the "HUDDLE" at the beginning of a match, it reminds me to Celtic lol!!!!! :fool:

p.s. Schade für our brothers of VFL Bochum, they were 3:1 and they finished 3:3 in Berlin. :boohoo:

Great pleasure to see again on ARD-Sportschau the images of 20th May 2000 with VIZE-MEISTER-DAUM crying in Haching and our tryumph with the SCHALE, maybe the best day in my life ALS FCB-Supporter......

Daum?!?! WTF I dont even think Dortmund would take a chance with him! Bayern will surely stick with Magath through this season and then decide after the season whether to retain him or not. You first need to find someone better than Magath before you fire him... you cant just fire someone to fire them and then get stuck with someone worse. And honestly there isnt many good managers available right now. Van Basten? The same guy who didnt call up huntelaar to the world cup? Psh! whatever

Actually I might as well take back that post I made earlier. I don't think it would make a difference in buying players for January if Magath was to go right before January because I don't think that he's much involved in the buying of players. The managers (not including Magath obviously) are more involved in the buying of players at Bayern which I've always thought wierd because you'd think that the coach would be better off at making the decision based on the needs of the coach.

Anyways, a luckish win today but that's alright. Teams win trophies based on poor performance wins such as Liverpool winning the CL and Chelsea winning the Premiership in the 04/05 season.
