I can tell you what's wrong with Rehhagel. The last time he lasted 9 months at Bayern. He doesn't know how to treat star players and he can't be surrounded by big name managers/chairmen.
In his whole career he's only had success when he could coach a team consisting of average players and then lead them to glory.

We preferably need a young coach that lets the team play attacking football. The players need to have fun playing the game. No wonder Lahm, Poldi and Schweini are performing so much better for the nt.

having fun is one thing, getting used to win is another. Yes they deff need ti enjoy playing but they also need to grow that hunger of glory that makes the difference between pretenders and contenders.
Daum if i do recall it rightly relies on old players too so he is no diffrence from don Otto in that context. Plus he is not a proven winner in the Bundesliga. Only ine title 13 years ago is nothing comparet to the times he came up second. Ned i recall that Otto brought K'lautern from second division and led them to the title? Or that he made no name Greece european champs?

He probably is not a good fitt at Bayern and i gotta agree last time he was with us he sucked big time but he has accomplished a lot since than.

As i said before he doesn't get my vote eather but he is one of the few that knows how to win. If it was up to me Hitzfeldts phone would have ranged long ago.

Co Adrianse? Marco Van Basten? Why sleep with the enemy? (6) Even though they would make us an entertaining team i doubt we would ever be an attacking team.

He brought these guys to Leverkusen:
Ballack, Lucio, R. Kovac, Ze Roberto (all later signed by Bayern for huge fees) Berbatov, Nowotny, Neuville, Schneider

Leverkusen were close to being relegated the season before he took over. He built the side that made it to the CL final in 02 and probably played the most attractive football in Europe at that time. And he was never able to spend the same as Bayern or Dortmund.

He still prefers to play a sweeper instead of the usual back four ffs! I don't care if we win all our games by 1-0, I want to see some nice football from time to time. We're not Italian.

We were horrible in his last two years. Finishing rock bottom in the CL group stage, 3rd in the Bundesliga with more depth than the current squad? He should have resigned after 2001.

Like I said, they speak the language that's important. I don't want another Trapattoni disaster. And to be honest, Makaay, van Bommel and also van der Vaart belong to most likeable guys around. I'd love us to sign more Dutch players instead of more divas from South America.

Daum is going to hold a press conference tomorrow. 2nd division club Cologne are offering him a 5 year contract worth €2,75M a year......

After what Hendrik said in his post, I agree with him, Daum should be the man for Bayern

EDIT: Well apparently Daum is still recovering from an operation on his throat, could not talk but listened to their offer and asked for time to think about it...

Very strange Bundesliga this year; I was lookin' to the match Werder-BVB09 1:3, good Borussia Partie, but Bremen have created many goal chances, but they've lost, unglaublich.....ops.....incredible.
The trouble is that when WE lose, like with Hannover, we create nothing!!! :nape:

If we lose tomorrow we'll be around ******* midtable.
Unfortunately that's the only way to get rid of Magath at the moment - I hope Leverkusen beat us by a nice margin.

I'd say that it's better if he either gets axed immediately or if at the end of the season becaues of the transfer window in January.

I think though that he might be able to save himself on CL results even if we finish outside the top three. Benitez for example like I said is still considered terrific by Kops only because of that CL win and maybe FA Cup, not league performance.

HALBZEIT, B04 0:1 FCB in the BayArena.

FCB almost better than GEGEN Hannover; wonderfull TOR of Brazzo, SCHADE the chance of van Buyten.

Schweini always out of the match, PECH, Juan reminds me at Lucio, a similar player, Bernd Schneider is 33 old but always a great player.

Sure Bayer04 will get Kießling into the match, they need a striker.

Hope to win but I know it's difficult in Leverkusen, a really good team.
