Lee Dong Gook was the MVP
The scorers were Lee Dong Gook (OMG) and Ahn Jung Hwan (OMG)
I thought Korea still had a defence and finishing problem to take care of. But since Ahn scored in the last minute, which was a rather nice finish redeeming other chances he failed, and the fact that we had 10 men, I'm gonna give my countrymen a break.

Anyway, another below-par performance from us, I still think we don't have an out-and-out striker although Lee DK is shaping up to be someone in that mould, if he could work on his finishing we could be lethal.

Jordan beat Kuwait 2-0! So Jordan isn't such a fluke after all, they have a decent chance to finish 1st in this group!
They're my dark horse to win this tournament. They've been getting a reputation for being 'the Greece of Asia' because of the way they play, plus they've sprung out of no where to challenge all the traditional Asian powers, that win against Kuwait was their first ever win in any major footballing competition and they're currently on the verge of ousting Iran in the world cup qualifiers. Phew... 1-0 win over Qatar. We're through!
Btw did anyone catch what happened in the Iran-Oman match the other day, three Iranian players were handed suspensions by AFC and the match referee got sacked and sent home just 10 minutes after the game cause he failed to give out enough cards.
Iranian defenders Badavi and Rezaei copped a 2-game suspension each for bitch slapping each other half way through the match.
Then another Iranian player Nosrati got a 4 game ban for stomping on the back of one of the Omani forwards. The funny thing is the ref gave the Iranians a foul and the Omani player a yellow card for play-acting. Quality Asian football at its best.

great match, the save by Ahmed (Iraqi keeper) in the 83rd minute was a gamesaver... those Chinese fans fighting for the Roteiro ball that went into the crowd hahaha

First win for Korea over Kuwait in what, 44 years I heard it was. Good win for us, I have a good feeling about the following matches ahead. Lee Dong Gook scores a few more, this can only be good for his confidence - but I feel he still needs to work on his finishing (as do the rest of our players).
