The game should of been 3-1, possibly 3-0 if Lehmann did a wondersave. Either way Villarreal deserved NOTHING from the game. Arsenal could and should of scored a lot more.

But then again it's not a matter of deserving, they should have scored instead, both teams.

I don't mean that Arsenal's victory wasn't deserved but they didn't deserve much more than the 1-0.

It's not that all Arsenal faults were criminal, but much of them were yellow card worthy and not only the referee didn't show it, but asked Villareal players to stand up rapidly (see Pires "plantilla" on Javi Venta).

He was such of arrogant, a thing I hate on referees (reminded me of the last Barça-Madrid match's one).

Crap match for neutrals everywhere.

If I didn't know too well I'd say Riquelme was overrated but I've seen him at his best and he can do some amazing stuff, tonight however he was Gilberto's little bitch. I predict a very similar game in the return leg except this time no team will score and Arsenal will go through on aggregate.

Highlight of the match for me: the squirrel , it was more fun to watch than the players
