Most disasterous refering I've seen in many time, and I watch the spanish league every weekend.

However, I'm not saying this hasn't been a deserved victory for Arsenal. It's hell of a team, and I really love the way they play (first touch, fast passing). Congrats.

How come we got all dirty teams outside of the groups? Madrid, Juve, and now these guys. Shame those teams don't have to play Blackburn or Bolton, they'd die from those tackles judging from the reactions they showed to ours.

I thought that was a decent ref, he didn't let them get away with much.

when the game started i was going for Arsenal...but man, that referee is a f*cking disgrace. not only him, all 4 of those dumbasses. jesus f*cking christ, that was ******* horrible. he shouldve worn an Arsenal jersey beneath.

Gee... it's not like Arsenal will be playing the world cup. Plus no team will get 2 or 3 guys on him, not in a world cup, specially with since there aren't 2 legs matches. Plus he'll have other players with him that don't play in Arsenal.

They filmed Arsenal's fans stand at the end of the game and almost no one was wearing club scarfs/shirts. What the hell is up with that?

Do they think wearing club merchandise is lame or are they just poor?

it costs too much. it's like 120 pounds to get a shirt with a name on it, 80 without a name.

I´m putting 75% of my gambling money on Arsenal going through to the final. Looks like a safe bet, Uefa will ensure that.

Yes lets stand off them and let them pass past us. Grow some ******* balls. Yes there were some bad tackles, but they weren't innocent themselves. Hleb was hacked down a fair few times. Play in the premiership and realise football is a physical game played by men not boys. Leg breakers are bad tackles and ones you cannot defend, but there was nothing near that tonight. And my God Alvarez' cynical foul on Henry, how you gonna justify that, did Henry not clutch his leg for long enough, or did he not rolling around 7 times before stopping? He probably should of been off for that.

In all honesty, you know whats worse than bad challenges? Diving and playacting. Dishonesty is a terrible thing. And credit to the ref for taking none of it. Not a single dive was blown up for, which is good. You can even say they should been booked (which would of meant Sorin would be banned for the reurn leg).

Oh and Gilberto was immense tonight. Riquelme was balls. He'd be so bad in the premiership it's untrue.
