Arsenal vs Villarreal - UCL Semi-Final, First Leg [P/R]

Bergkamp needs to face his fears and play in the return match.

Does he still have it to play in the EPL? haven't seen him play but I remember his great matches as a Arsenal player, is this his last year?

I know why Arsenal is being critized, it's quite obvious. We're playing a spanish outfit, and most of our players are black.

I bet you guys are praying for monkey chants in the next leg, hoping it'll get inside Arsenal's head. I got news for you. We're all black, when the lights go out,
I really really really hope that post was a joke.

Help?

How come Barca only brought 5,000 to San Siro against Milan?? I mean, Barcelona is a big city and people probably have more money to fly to Italy to watch the game and Barcelona is a much more popular team not only in Spain but worldwide as well than Villareal. I think even South American teams fly more fans to away games considering the ****ty economic conditions we have down here. Don't take this as if I am disrespecting your team/fans, but it seems odd...
I am not 100% sure, but maybe that's the number of away tickets Milan gave to Barca.

Keeping a draw or trying to get a victory on "Madrigal" won't be ane asy task for Arsenal, also i don't think they will play the same way there being the home team. It will be a very interesting match to watch. Also got to consider it's probably the most important match for both teams so far in their history.

In my opinion Franco should be a starter instead of José Mari. And about the Barbosa issue, well from being the keeper of Banfield to be a keeper on the semi-final of the Champions League playing in England, got to give him some credit it's not like the goal was his fault even. :o

Well in Uruguay ppl are just happy that we have something better than Argentina (Kind of like the Scots going bananas over the fact that Craig Gordon is better than David James or Paul Robertson <<<Craig Gordon could be the best GK in the UK in a few years)

But I dont know, besides Filliol (best ever), Argentina was never a "GK nation" (they produce more than enough of everything else, dont get me wrong). Its not like Italy who is famous for GKs. So its not very surprising really..................anyways Besides all that, Argentina can rest easy that the best GK they've had in maybe 30 years will lead them into the future (Im speaking of UStari of course, the guy has "legend" written all over him....god damn, great GK.)

Henry, Bergkamp, Ljungberg, and Pires all have English citizenship. :)

He probably means like players who are eligible to play for the England NT.
I think we usually see the players as under the nationality of their birth or NT to make it less confusing ;)

Arsenal owned Villarreal the entire match...

Roman had always 2 or 3 players arround him...

Sorin, Arruabarrena, Forlan, Jose Mari and Senna were the low points of Villarreal...

It was amazing how fast Arsenal passed from a defensive position to being face to face with the defense of Villarreal...Wenger prepared the game perfectly...

Its almost impossible for Villarreal, but i still have faith in Saint Roman...

BTW, it was a clear penalty to Jose Mari...!!!

Villarreal should sell Forlan NOW, before all realize that he sucks...hehehe...Aguero could be the answer... :)

Forlan is class. It's normal that he couldn't do anything yesterday cause he didn't received a decent ball near the area, since both Jose Mari and mainly Sorin sucked, and Riquelme was very well covered all the time.
