I see a future Hercules flick...
My friends told me that the events in 300 are actually pretty close to what really happened, and all the part in the beginning about Spartan culture is also almost completely true.

I actually just caught the movie last night :$

I must say I was pretty much disappointed after reading such fantastic reviews.

dont get me wrong, the effects, cinematography etc were fantastic, but the storyline really sucked.

when I watch history-based movies I want to actually learn something about history :(

I wish they made better historical movies as almost all the ones released have pretty much sucked.

But even with that, for me to enjoy a film solely on the strength of effects/cinematography/whatever it really has to be something awesome that I'd never seen before. And IMO that was not the case.

Oh yeah (H)...King was Leonardis while VantheMan was Xerxes (since both r cousins :( ) ...jatin was.....uhhh....didnt see him...i must have been too busy laughin to notice him

The hindi wasnt that bad, good effort by the dubbing team but meh, i went for some cheesy dialogues and i got them ! We were 20 people in the whole theatre :p....crap sound quality and even a screen smaller than King's hindu bar

zlo, keep practicin, u have a long way to go :(

Actually it's just phonetic spelling. I tried to write "King is gay"

Also, obviously the writing with the mouse in Paint makes is look a little retarded :crazyboy:

Anyway, it was just a Hindi lesson from a website, which I read very quickly to pick out the sounds I wanted to make and write them there.

It all really depends on that third letter....it can sound like Kings fartin or worse, he is doin it with his elder/smaller cousin :(

Speakin of hindi, i just saw the Spiderman 3 trailer in hold ur breadth.....Bhojpuri Language :eek: :rofl: :rofl: :D :mrpimp:

After reading about the real battle of thermoplae, I believe this film could have had a lot more depth and emotion, with the same amount of eye candy and visual effects.

But instead they went for the comic book version of the battle. Now it's a good movie that could have been great.
